HuskerHacker
That's because ESPN owns the SEC.... it is also why ESPN writers should not be allowed a vote in the BCS polls... Personally, I can't stand ESPN's college football coverage and their bias comments. Link to comment

StPaulHusker
I don't give a gotdamn about where ESPN has him ranked. College football will take notice soon enough of our RB corp and there will be no denying what we have done in recruiting. Link to comment

Rivals has him 1, scout 2. So I'm to understand that there are 16 better RBs in the country? And 20 something better then Adam Taylor! Poppycock! What's our national composite ranking for RBs and LBs? anyone?^^^ Link to comment

I love getting Newby as well, but Taylor is my favorite out of the two. Link to comment
Stumpy1
I'm with you on this one EZ...Something about Adam reminds me of the RBs of the 80s and early 90s...Punishing, yet smooth at the same time. Link to comment

What's our national composite ranking for RBs and LBs? anyone?^^^ According to Rivals, we have RB #8 (Newby) and #26 (Taylor). Going strictly by Rivals ranks, the other teams that are at the top are: Alabama has #6 and #7 Notre Dame has #2 and #13 U$C has #3 and #12 Florida has #5 and #27 Clemson has #14 and #28 Looks to me like a pretty close tie for fourth with Florida On the LB front, we have the #14 OLB (Banderas), the #23 OLB (Newby) and the #26 ILB (Love) Other schools with three (or more) highly-rated LBs are: Florida has #3, #5 and #8 ILB and #25 and #32 OLB Georgia has #6, #7, #15 and #23 ILB and #26 OLB Notre Dame has #1 and #10 OLB and #34 ILB Ohio St. has #4 ILB and #3 and #44 OLB Clemson has #5 and #17 OLB and #41 ILB Florida St. has #4, #24, #31 & #38 OLB South Carolina has #2 and #22 ILB and #30 and #36 OLB Texas A&M has #18, #25, #28, #31 and #38 ILB UCLA has #18, #20 and #28 OLB Arizona St. has #14 ILB and #13 and #50 OLB Slot us for the top 10 at least. 2 Link to comment

Good stuff. Thanks for the info Mav. Seems to me this staff is a little under appreciated when it comes to their eye for spotting talent. At least by some on this board. Can't wait to see these guys get their husker careers started! Again thanks for doing the work. : Link to comment

I love this kid. Kids who have so much speed they can outrun everyone on the field just bounce it to the outside most the time and face a much bigger learning curve when they get to college. And then you have to wonder if they can be physical enough between the tackles. I think AT has just got it. Monte Ball part deu. Link to comment
