lo country
Every time they cut to the sidelines, Bo was giving Paps an earful. The 5 substitution penalties didn't help. I think Bo might be over Paps as his DC. Thoughts? Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Well if Bo worked with the defense A LOT more these past few weeks it showed today. Quote Link to comment
arkiehusker
I hope so. Cue the Pelini haters! " its an embarrassment for our coach to act like that", " he is mean", blah blah blah. Quote Link to comment
Marf
Most telling portion to me was every defensive huddle shown. Bo was in the center talking. Paps was standing behind him looking around. Most evident when Afalava made that big stop early in the game after the time out. Wasn't like that vs UCLA. Quote Link to comment
FriendlyLurker2007
do your job dont get yelled at....also /me prepares for gif bombing Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
The defense did seem to be progressing some but the mental mistakes (substitutions, missed tackles, etc) need to stop 2 Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
Michael Rose, Gregory, Cooper, and Ankrah played well today.... We've got to find an answer at Middle LB.... Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Was it really 5? That's ridiculous. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
as bo's seat heats up, his patience for pap diminishes. which is good. bo needs to stop coddling him. you should not be loyal to a fault. he is there to do a job, not be a friend (bo and pap). pap needs to demonstrate he can do that job, or go. but the defense did show a lot of improvement. just disappointing we have to use our bye week to practice tackling. what were they doing during fall camp? but, we have a soft october and a lot of time to improve. gbfr. Hunter94
I predict Paps won't finish the season here...a couple blow outs and Pelini will do more than pee his pants. Quote Link to comment
suh_fan93
Bo's the guy who chose him in the first place. He should look in the mirror and yell at himself. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
I predict Paps won't finish the season here...a couple blow outs and Pelini will do more than pee his pants. Is it true that Bo printed out the Recruiting Director position and put it on Pap's desk Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
Bo's the idiot who chose him in the first place. He should look in the mirror and yell at himself. you want coordinators that make you look better, not worse. i think bo is tired of being embarrassed by stuff like we saw today. just bad mistakes that are inexcusable. NUance
Meh. That's just how Bo talks to Paps. Here Bo is asking Paps if he wants to grab a sammich and a beer and watch game films later on. Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
It's obvious Paps is not the guy. The problem is, how much is it his fault or is Bo the power behind the facade? If Bo dumps him, then he has to be prepared to take full responsibility for the D. It's as if Paps is serving as sort of a human shield. I don't blame Bo for reaming him if it is in fact Paps D and not Bo's. I just doubt that is the case. Quote Link to comment
