RB Kendall Bussey Jr [Texas A&M - Signed LOI]

Recommended Posts

I guess we wait to see what the staff does. The moment a RB is offered, they've moved on, if nothing comes then they're fighting til the end and feel confident in a) he signs with NU 2) we feel comfortable at the position and with a small class there are other needs.

He would be a great get, but there are other positional needs that will lead us to a title, like OL/DL and a playmaking QB. Running backs are becoming a dime a dozen.

Good to hear. But, in all honesty, football fans (not just Husker fans) need to remember that life is bigger than football. If Kendall truly loves Tennessee and thinks it's the best fit for him, then by all means he should go. He'll put up big numbers no matter what school he attends Life is about having fun and doing what you love and if that's playing football for the University of Tennessee, then go. If that means playing RB at DONU, all the better!

I'm glad to hear the situation is different now, but cmon... no need to scold a kid if he makes a decision that he thinks is best for himself.

Looks like it was Mike Farrell who jumped the gun on the story. Might just be another time a rivals writer jumped on a story before having all his facts straight. Kendall and Fisher spoke.

Isn't it nice how he accuses Bussey Sr. of backpedaling in the sentence right before he backpedals on his story?

Trying to save his "reputation". I believe he's done this same thing before.
