Red Five
There were a few occasions this year where Natter made some pretty big plays I must have missed those plays. When was he actually on the field? He did have 1 tackle this year. You must have missed it against South Alabama. Its easy to get all our white DE confused. I mean they all look the same. FrankWheeler
I could of sworn I saw him on a few goal line/short yardage plays...too many drinks I suppose Quote Link to comment
FrankWheeler
I also think the Love and Hart situations were different with the coaching change. They both announced their decisions in early December, so I guess we should be finding out fairly soon if the same situation might occur. Quote Link to comment

FrankWheeler
Sorry I sidetracked everybody with my love for white defensive linemen. Getting back on track, with the current numbers we are able to sign 5 more (2 remaining for 85 + 3 allowable oversign for 88). Depending on the Collins, Keyan Williams situations and perhaps a few people leaving that might increase that number by 1-3? 1 Quote Link to comment

I think a lot of people are under the assumption that there will be 5+ (and as much as 10) players leaving the program. As for names, I have no clue. But honestly, I don't think that I would be surprised by anyone. Quote Link to comment
FrankWheeler
Wow, that would be pretty shocking to me if that many players left. And the assumption is all of these guys are going to leave before signing day? Quote Link to comment

84HuskerLaw
I would be very surprised and disappointed if a bunch (more than 4) current players left the team for whatever reasons. I am sure that we could look back at the past 15 years and find about that being the average for players who quit for whatever reasons (injuries, medical, school issues, family and personal, drugs, etc.) You get 150 college students and you probably fiind as many as 15 quit or transfer (10% might be low actually) so no reason players would be any different. FrankWheeler
Since 2008 between 5 and 10 players have left each year. We are currently at 2 right now (Talen and Stevenson) so another 2-3 would be expected but 5-10 more would be on the high side. Edit: I didn't count Finnin since he was already a Senior. Savage Husker
My guess is that a RB (Taylor) leaves, a QB (Bush) leaves, and Maliek declares for the draft. I wouldn't be surprised to see; McMullen leave, with all the linebackers recruited another linebacker leaving; with the management of the OL, one of those guys gone too. Also, have to adjust for Kevin Williams getting a 6th year. *no knowledge and more than likely I'm wrong, but my predictions* Quote Link to comment
theknife
Why would Mcmullen leave? He's a returning starter. Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
i don't know, just a wild prediction. I have no facts or rumors to back up my reasoning. Quote Link to comment
