Beck would be the smartest OC in FBS if he would read this board every week. Diamond needs to be more prominent in this O with teams stuffing the box to stop AA. Â Â The reason that diamond formation works so well is because it's a balanced formation. We can make an audible and no one has to shift. That is why Osborne loved to use balanced sets out of the I-Formation, Ace, and Shotgun. Â It also puts so many weapons and speed in the backfield that the defense is really pretty much screwed when we use it. Â Â preach it... But the defense has been above average today save the last couple drives with the game in hand. As a fan base we.want more but as a team this is what we needed to do.
