The Duke
MCL sprains can be mild or more sever. By definition a sprain is a slight tear of the ligament... It just depends how slight. Really any ligament injury is a tear of some type. The good news is that Ameer seemed to support his weight well and didn't appear to be hurting too bad. With proper treatment he should be good to go for Wiscy. I think it will all depend on how freely is he able to plant and cut on that knee going full speed. Nebraska has a tremendous training staff, so hopefully he will get some good rest during the bye week, and we'll see him play at Wisconsin. Quote Link to comment

Danny Bateman
Also, AA is a very very good squatter as we all know so his legs are very well conditioned. That's why he's been so injury resistant during his career here and it should protect him from re-injury more than your average player. As for Santos and his lack of speed, I'm thinkinng he may still be hurt and playing through it. Well enough to play, not 100% type of thing... Quote Link to comment

presidentjlh
Wouldn't be much of an issue if the o had done it's job today. At worst this would lead to 42-14 then. Quote Link to comment
