Why Jim tressel is the Vegas favorite for the HC

Where do you guys get off thinking this is not a win at all costs shot? Of course it is. We just fired one of the winningest coaches in the past seven years for not being better. I couldn't give two shitts and a giggle what the NCAA thinks if we hire Tressel. In my mind, he would be perfect for a five year contract with Frost hired as a highly paid assistant HC/OC. I like the DL coach we have, so keep him. Keep Ron Brown. I'll let Tressel worry about who his DC will be.

The power players were unhappy with Bo making funny faces and yelling at people, do you really think that they'd pay for the guy who got Ohio St. Put on probation. In this conservative state? ?

Your posts continue to be a lesson in absolute nonsense.

You realize his nickname was 'The Senator', because of how pleasant and calm his demeanor was? Sounds perfect for a conservative state.

Tom Osborne and Tony Dungy, two legends of coaching and also legends of moral fiber, give him full endorsement as a coach and a human being. That's enough for me.

Tressel has often been described as senatorial, an adjective rarely applied to a football coach; in fact, one of his nicknames is the Senator. He has been lauded for his sincerity and his politeness, and people who admire his faith in God often mention the prayer-request box on the desk in his office at Ohio State.

It looks like you missed the gist of my post. That's ok.

The last i heard, neither TO nor Dungy is making this hire.

Look, i want the holy grail of the vest and frosty, but I'm betting we don't get that. Hope I'm wrong and if i am, I'll buy you a beer. Cool?
