huskerfan333157
I, personally, did not want Frost to be our head coach (yet) and am excited about riley. With that being said, I wonder how many head coaching opportunities he will get next year if Oregon's offense doesnt miss a beat without Mariotta and would he leave a high profile job to come back to Nebraska when Riley retires? Just a few hypoheticals thrown out there and im curious to see what everyone thinks. Quote Link to comment

Warrior10
I doubt he gets a "high profile" job straight outta Oregon, that's not how it usually works. Look at Tom Herman at OhioSt for example, he is doing just as good of things and his opportunity for a HC position comes from Houston. I think Frost will get a non-power5 or maybe small power5 HC job within 2 years, but I really don't see him jumping somewhere "high profile". But I did say in another thread, that if he gets that HC job somewhere and is successful as a HC he will be Riley's successor. Quote Link to comment

AlexHamilton10
Under. A OREvsOSU thread becomes Frost instantly. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Reading Frost's Oregon bio the following thought came to me: how many coaches have been both defensive and offensive coordinators in their careers? Â http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=3661251 Quote Link to comment
BLEED4BLACKSHIRTS
People are going to want to see how he calls plays without a Heisman winning quarterback before he gets a big boy call Quote Link to comment
Xmas32
He *might* be able to get a P5 HC job in a couple years, it'll be at a pretty crappy school though if you made me guess (Wilson @ Indiana seems like a decent comparison). Quote Link to comment
