caveman99
This is the other possibility IMO http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Johnson_%28American_football_coach%29 Playing career Arizona State Mesa CC Akron San Antonio Riders British Columbia Lions Orlando Predators Shreveport Pirates Position(s) Quarterback Coaching career (HC unless noted) Oregon State (WR) Oregon State (QB) San Diego Chargers (QB) Atlanta Falcons (WR) Atlanta Falcons (QB) Baltimore Ravens (WR) San Francisco 49ers (QB) San Francisco 49ers (OC) UCLA Bruins (OC) UCLA Bruins (interim HC) I think Mike Johnson would be a very solid hire. I hope he is the guy. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Mike Johnson would be a fantastic hire. I'm thinking it would have happened already if it was going to. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Okay, I'm just spitballing here, but a guy I'd like to see come back to NU someday is Gerry Gdowski. He's at Vanderbilt now. Has 20+ years coaching various positions. He started his coaching career at Nebraska as a WR/TE coach. For me, Gdowski would be a SPLASH hire. Quote Link to comment

ScottyIce
Polar opposite to Langsdorf. Langsdorf coaches Eli to his best season. Prince coached Megatron to his worst. Not negative just saying. He coached Golden Tate to his best season though. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Ok... I guess I'll be the guy to ask. Who is Megatron? Quote Link to comment
lo country
Ok... I guess I'll be the guy to ask. Who is Megatron? Calvin Johnson. Been injured on and off. Ended the season strong. Quote Link to comment

Unsure if true or not, but he was supposedly offered the RB job and turned it down...... Really liked him. Had hoped he would stay on. Quote Link to comment
