Hedley Lamarr
Taylor was the best since Crouch IMO 1 Quote Link to comment
Enhance
Taylor Ganz Martinez Armstrong Kellogg Lee Keller Green I think Zac Taylor is sometimes undervalued or underappreciated when we think about the QB's of the last 10 years. He was a pretty good QB. Martinez put up several records and I'll never forget how electrifying he was his freshman year. But, one thing that will always hold him back in my mind is that he didn't win a lot of the big games that mattered, and it's tough to be considered the best when you have a propensity for turning the ball over. 1 Quote Link to comment

These are both curious statements, since 1) Zac is either 1 or 2 in everyone's lists except one, and 2) Martinez won more games against top 20 teams than anyone else. Obviously he played a lot more games, but Ganz had none and Taylor had four if you count rank at the time of playing (all in the 20's), or zero if you go by end of season rankings. husker07
1. Ganz- Dude was a beast and a gamer. With him in 09 we're talking BCS maybe MNC. 2. Martinez- Incredible individual talent. 3. Taylor- Really, really solid. 4. Armstrong- Maybe a bit of a surprise but he's been above average I'd say Who really cares after that. 1 Quote Link to comment

Yeah, but that's Bo's fault not Martinez's. Quote Link to comment

Guy Chamberlin
If I'm reading this correctly, there's a preference for single-threat quarterbacks. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
If I'm reading this correctly, there's a preference for single-threat quarterbacks. I think that we are going to start pretending that we want the old statue QB's back...if that doesn't work...we will want the runners back...basically we will just keep wanting "it" until "it" gets us Husker fans into the playoff.
