So ... apparently the Huskers have new cleats for this weekend....

My problem with the all-whites is that they resemble Wisconsin's traditional road uniforms. I'm sorry, but if I'm cheering "GO BIG RED!" it just makes sense to have that teams main color scheme be prodominately displayed no matter if it is the home or away uniform.

I'll never forget when they came out in all red against Oklahoma. OU had the Boz. Another classic dog fight which we unfortunately lost by 3 points.

I love those Orange Bowl shoes. I love the large N on the side the best.

Look way better than Miami's.

I love the all-whites but only as an occasional look. I think the players really love them, though, which they should, because they're super sharp - but they're best as a once-in-a-while alternate.

I don't mind the all white look at all. Especially when it's going going to be upper 80s and 70%+ humidity.

IMO, our uniform rankings are:

white top, red pants > red top, white pants >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> white top, white pants >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> red top, red pants

You just confirmed for me that when I think of the Huskers, my brain is stuck in 2001.

It always surprises me how much smaller shoulder pads have become.

You know, that's a really good observation, and one I hadn't taken notice of over the past 10 years. Everyone talks about how the jerseys are getting tighter, but to your point the construction and materials they use nowadays on the pads to keep their size down is pretty remarkable.
