lo country
This guy coaches like Pinkle from Mizzou. Mind boggling Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Sadly, I am not seeing a whole lot of "experienced staff" in this game plan....... Thats why you arent coaching at this level and neither are you... Quote Link to comment
Norhusker
Brown is slowly improving in terms of consistency. Great to see this. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Interesting all the people saying a defense on pace to give up 500 yards is playing great Points allowed > Yards allowed. This defense needs confidence right now. Preserving goose eggs will provide it. Literally ANY competent team would have points on us right now (2 missed field goals and a failure to convert 4and1). I'm sick of the moral victories, it's what turns into blowouts against good teams. And those are coming. I never thought I'd see Nebraska get shutout for a quarter by the incompetent Illinois defense. But hey... we're up 7-0 so we're gonna win the west now! I bet you also never thought that you would need to see a play of the year type play by Ameer last year for us to survive McNeese State either. I have an honest question for you, what is your purpose on here other than to nit pick and complain about everything right now? Is is because Bo is gone? You don't like Riley? A combo of both? I am not saying that everyone should be kool aid drinkers because no player or coach (to include TO for two piss poor HC hires) should be above criticism, but when you complain about the new staff failing in four plus games to get better results than the staff that recruited these players did, it makes you look like a scored lover and you lose all credibility. NOt that you seem to care, but whatever. But sunshine pumpers I ask you this. If Bo was coach, would you be defending this team's performance the way you do with Riley. Be honest. That's kind of the whole point man. It's a little difficult to take a team of guys brought in to play spread and teach them a pro-style offense. Likewise, a defense used to matchup bracket pass D learning to play run first D and quarters coverage I'm the back end AND learn how to tackle is a little bit much to chew off by the first game of conference play. But Husker fans and patience never did get along... Quote Link to comment

PaulCrewe
Hopefully 2014 Tommy stays in the locker room at half and 2015 Tommy finally gets to the stadium Tommy is 2/10 . Here's a hint stop passing. The receivers are dropping everything. Gimme a break. I am referring to the fact that he is reverting ball to his habit of l looking/forcing the homerun ball instead of going to his secondary options and check downs who are open. Add put mechanics in there as well Settle down Francis Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
2nd half gameplan has to be giving Ozigbo and Janovich the ball. They're getting about 4-6 yards every time *DING DING DING* we have a winner! This, plus Tommy running it or doing high percentage passes on occasion to keep the defense honest, rinse, repeat. huskerfan92
Why kick an onside kick when our pass defense is terrible? Quote Link to comment
