Danny Bateman
Jerry Kill is a boss. That is all. One of my favorite B10 coaches during our time here. Wish him the best of health. Quote Link to comment
Redux
Yeah, hell of a coach. Sucks he can't kick the health issues. Was a stellar fit for Goldy. Quote Link to comment
Warrior
Quality man that did some amazing work. Good Luck in retirement. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Thread Note: There were two Jerry Kill threads. So I merged them. Also, since this is more of a B1G topic than a Husker football topic, we'll probably move it to the B1G forum after everyone has a chance to see it. Carry on. Quote Link to comment
TheMeanFarmer
He was a surprisingly good coach and I hoped that he was doing the right thing by continuing to coach after being carted off the field multiple times for seizures. God speed to him! Quote Link to comment
teachercd
This must just suck for him...most of us hate our jobs or at the very least tolerate it. By all accounts he LOVED his job, which is probably one of the best things in the world but now he can't do it anymore. Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Right before they playing Michigan and Ohio State. Those players are absolutely going to be fired up to do something for coach. Harbaugh and Urban better have their team's dialed in Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Much respect to Kill! Good luck to Minnesota going forward. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Tough spot for the Gophers and Coach Kill. He was changing things in Minnesota and actually had the team in a place to make a B1G run in the next 3-5 years. His health was basically an issue from day 1 and from most people I heard was the writing was on the walls that this might eventually happen. His health was all over the place. I am glad Jerry is stepping down to get help. The job is not worth dying. Good luck in whatever you do, Coach Kill. 1 Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2015/10/28/9625542/jerry-kill-retiring-minnesota-football-coach Goodness that video is absolutely heart-breaking. I commend Mr. Kill for making this tough decision. I wish him nothing but the best, that's a guy who gave every bit of energy into the game of football he possibly could. Total class act. Good luck Jerry Kill. Quote Link to comment
BoNeyard
I really like and respect Jerry Kill. Good luck coach. Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
Listening to the press conference was very difficult...good coach and an even better person. I wonder if he will stay involved at some capacity as a consultant to the Goofs or just move on completely. Quote Link to comment
HuskerMerc44
Coach Kill is a great coach. He deserves a lot of respect. Doing what he has for Minnesota can't be easy. It's depressing that we won't get to see where he would have taken them. Quote Link to comment

Husker Q
Too bad, he's one of the few good guys that it seems everyone likes and respects. Good luck coach Quote Link to comment
