ZRod
Snapchat does delete the pictures from their active servers, but nothing truly disappears when you're talking about the digital world. The app was designed specifically by some frat bros as a sexting app. Smart, marketable idea, but people should know what they're getting into. And people screenshotting your stuff isn't that big of a deal - everyone knows that people CAN screenshot their snaps, and they know when people do, so just be smart. You're talking out your ass again. It wasn't designed specifically for sexting. Yes the concept was partly inspired by a famous sexting scandal, but that wasn't the sole reason it was created. 1 Link to comment

The case has revealed documents which confirm what everyone has known since the beginning. SnapChat was created as a “safe” sexting app. Here’s an email about drafting the first press release, included in the court documents. (The app was originally called picaboo) And this is an exchange between the creator and a person they are asking to promote the app’s release. Link to comment

jsneb83
From your own link: The company says it deletes "snaps" from its servers after the message is opened, but admits people can still take screenshots of messages. When that happens, Snapchat sends the sender a notification. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/technology-science/technology/snapchat-secretly-saving-your-photos-6751818From another source: It adds: "The Snaps and Chats you send your friends remain as private today as they were before the update. "Our Privacy Policy continues to say - as it did before - that those messages 'are automatically deleted from our servers once we detect that they have been viewed or have expired.' "Of course, a recipient can always screenshot or save your Snaps or Chats. "But the important point is that Snapchat is not - and never has been - stockpiling your private Snaps or Chats. "And because we continue to delete them from our servers as soon as theyre read, we could not - and do not - share them with advertisers or business partners. The pictures are downloaded to your device, that's the only way you can view them, and there are ways to keep them. Taking a screen shot is one way. Here's another. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/10/snapchat-photos-dont-delete-saved-on-phone_n_3248567.html Even this article doesn't claim that Snapchat saves pictures on it's servers. http://www.tomsguide.com/us/snapchat-ftc-settlement,news-18754.html I'm just not seeing it. The frustrating thing about Snapchat is that there really many apps that DO block the ability to take screenshots while in their app so it shouldn't be too difficult to make that the case with theirs as well. You would think they could also delete the items from the users device, whether that is a computer, phone or tablet.I know a few people who take a picture of the screen with another device. KazLong
Wrote out long explanation however, deleted. Suffice to say no. Even if you have a friend or a family member who is a police officer unless they are working on the case or directly related they would have no idea, and the police reports are not drawn up prior to charging... Any one saying they have seen the police reports is lying... In Nebraska we have an affidavit of probable cause that is the first document produced. The police reports are generally authored a few days after the arrest if not same day... But what ever. Police reports generally speaking can be worked on months after the arrest for major charges of this nature... Talking inches thick. Link to comment

How would your source being a booster know what the police are going or not going to do? Also how is your head coach prediction working out? Link to comment
C N Red
The Sock gettin so much hate. Why? This is still rumorville right? A little levity never hurt anyone. Its un-American to not like the Sock. So, if you're un-American just dont read its sweaty posts. 3 Link to comment

You're ship has sailed, bud. It was cute last year with the head coaching search (even though you were flat out wrong), less funny this year after the Purdue game, and this is tasteless. I don't give a sh#t if your source was a big time booster or not, and based of your known whiffs I doubt it, but no way in hell you know anything about the presser. Link to comment
