HuskerMav11
MSU beat tOSU tonight. Beat Iowa and we have beat two top 10 teams this season...................... While also losing to Purdue and Illinois. Crap happens when you are building a team,,get over it.Crap like terrible game management and game plans? You really want to start that lame argument again? Guessing you will call for Riley to be fired if we beat Iowa and lose the bowl game.Funny that you came out of the woodwork after NU finally won 2 games in a row this year. Been here all along, just sitting back and enjoying being right all along, how is that cold plate of crow tasting? bet it will be a little chewy after next Friday, but still ENJOY!What crow? I want NU to beat Iowa. That will be great. However let's not pretend that the first 9 games didn't happen. NU will still have a 6-6 season. That's not good. As much as I question the hire, you can't expect any new coach to come in and turn things around. it just doesn't happen. Give it time. You can always jump ship if you're disastified with the team. Plenty of other fanbases you can be part of. 1 Quote Link to comment

I don't quit on the Huskers, I just don't have to give blind satisfaction to coaching that was highly questionable in a lot of points this season. Quote Link to comment
Kernal
I'm a little worried the refs might be instructed on how to officiate this game. How much does the B1G miss out on if they don't have a team make the playoff? $3 million? Not that I've ever seen an officiating crew help get a team get to the national championship. I doubt it will be fixed. Simple. You don't leave the game in the hands of the officials. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dansker
Yep, there should be no excuses win or lose. Gotta play inspired from start to finish. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Iowa should be #4 coming into Lincoln. Knock them off and that would be awesome! Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
or just beat them because they're Iowa 1 Quote Link to comment
I am I
The way I see it is, they have all the pressure to finish and go onto much bigger things. All they have to do is win. They are on a mission. They believe. They are still "underdogs" as far as everyone in the college football world is concerned. Dangerous team for everyone. But we have them at home, after they've cinched...we can expect them to come out guns blazing or bloated on turkey. We can beat them and we have to, in order to show that for no other reason, we are competitors and our season matters. 1 Quote Link to comment

Day by Day
Because it's Iowa and we hate them. Because we can prevent Iowa from being in the hunt for a national championship. Because it's the right thing to do. Because it'd be fun. Did I mention it's Iowa and we hate them. 1 Quote Link to comment
drfish
How much does it suck for the Iowa fan that even if the Huskers win this is still their best start ever? Quote Link to comment
