The General Election

I'm not. Are you?

Heck no....Rubio was my top choice for the GOP nomination. I don't love Trump, but the idea of Hillary and the failed Progressive policies for 4 more years is too much to stomach. I honestly wish Romney would have gotten the libertarian nomination as I think he would have won the election.

I apologize if I missed something and this is a dumb question but why would Romney get the Libertarian nomination? I don't remember that ever even being a possibility but I also didn't follow their primaries closely, if at all.

Well, there was a lot of speculation in late March into April that Romney might run as a 3rd party, but that if he got in the Libertarian party ticket it would be easier to meet the paperwork necessary to run in all states (or something to that effect). For a 3rd party to really have a credible run, it has to be somebody with either deep pockets or someone that has a lot of name recognition already. Ross Perot was successful in 1992 because he started early and had a bunch of money to run those 30-minute infomercials which propelled him in the spotlight. Romney already has the name ID and is also viewed as a good guy (especially compared to Hillary and Trump).

Asked how the campaign would reach millennial women few of whom watch Sean Hannity an adviser said that Trump himself will force the national media to focus on Clintons alleged intimidation of sexual assault victims. Trumps gonna force it into the system, one adviser said. By tweeting, by just moving it out there. The mainstream media will be embarrassed not to cover this.

Have they considered how sexist this approach is? The only way they've thought of to reach millennial women is to talk about their opponent's husband's so-called crimes?

You are missing the point. First off, Hillary is married to a sexual predator unless you are going to choose to not believe the many women that have come forward. Watch the Juanita Broaddrick video and tell me you don't believe her. Moreover, Broaddrick and others all talked about Hillary's role in threatening them, trying to dig up dirt to discredit them, etc... What kind of woman who claims to be a champion for female empowerment stays with a rapists and then attacks the women he assaulted. Let's not also forget that as an attorney, Hillary defended a 41-year old man who raped a 12-year old girl, and claimed the girl was simply seeking attention. She was later caught on tape laughing about how she knew he was guilty.

I would not expect any Democrats or liberals to claim to be offended by Trump's antics towards women given most likely voted for Bill Clinton not once but twice.

Soooo....don't vote for Hillary because she is married to a sexual predator when you can vote for one directly.

It's much more efficient that way.

More popcorn needed. How many times now in this campaign has he threatened people with this???

Oh yaa....that's how America works, run for office, if people report bad things about you, sue them. Don't like your opponent???? Throw them in jail. Don't win???? Just don't concede and tell people they should revolt.

Oh goodie. He thinks we live in North Korea. Next thing we know Dennis Rodman will be visiting him.

This is surreal. Donald's accusing Hillary of viciously going after women who brought forth charges against Bill (a matter that deserved serious attention, too), while doing the same thing himself in the wake of these new allegations.

Meanwhile, a lawsuit is proceeding regarding the rape of a 13-year old girl, with Donald Trump as the defendant.

I can't comment on the validity of any of these claims.

There's arguably less evidence to support Bill's accusers, since Broaddrick admitted in a sworn deposition that he never assaulted her. I'm seriously all for believing anyone claiming abuse, but her story has wavered over the years. And the situation is so much harder to take seriously since Trump himself denigrated them back in the day when it was actually news.

Oh man, that video. Katrina has said some horribly misleading stuff this year. She tried to pin Capt. Humayun Khan's death in Iraq on Obama's leadership. The only issue was that Capt. Khan passed away in 2004.

His parents were the ones that came out and rebuked Trump w/ a pocket-sized constitution during the DNC.

From a few hours ago...

Keep your popcorn handy!

Just making a general comment here, not claiming any conspiracy. It sure would have been nice if all this would have happened 4 weeks before the Iowa Caucuses instead of 4 weeks before the get election.

You are not alone in thinking this. A great many people have been openly wondering about conspiracies in this election.

It's possible we're witnessing The Big Lie right here, right now. Something so outrageous the public won't dare believe it's false. I mean, who would believe a person/party could orchestrate a fake campaign in order to get another person/party elected?

Or dont vote for a woman that supports, enables, and defends men who committed violent sexual assault. Again, any person that voted and supported Bill Clinton and claimed he just "lied about sex" has no voice in this accusations against Trump.

There's no more evidence in the Clinton accusers' stories than in the Trump accuser's stories, it's all he said she said. So maybe Trump should be sued when he brings those up.

And no comment on Hillary defending a 41 year old man that raped a 12 year old girl and them trashed the girl claiming ahe wanted attention? Then years later Hillary laughed about the fact she knew he was guilty?

Great point...this is the media and Team Hillary working as one to ensure she wins the election. If NBC, the Washington Post, the NY Times, and the rest of the liberal media really wanted to ensure Americans that the 2 best candidates were on the ballot in November, they would have released this trash 12 months ago. Trump, along with wikileaks, is thankfully exposing them for what they are.
