Moiraine
Newby sucks you guys. (There was a hold but it was still a good run) Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
Don't know why I joined this board yall are a damn party poop. "We should be losing" no not really ww are winning for a reason "this team sucks skers are getting blown out next week" how about we wait until next week and see. Good lord it seems like this board wants the huskers to be mediocre because thoughts become things and there is sure a whole lot of negativity here This is what game threads are. It's about reacting in the moment and getting pumped up or pissed off. Then after the game is over most people become sane again. may be true but and that is fine but there is so much game left to be saying Oregon is going to blow us out next week or other similar predictions on the season. Just surprised to see so little faith Quote Link to comment

Scratchtown
Clipping. Good run and hands by Newby though. That wasn't clipping. Quote Link to comment
lo country
I think we'll win 8-9 games this year but watching this it's really hard to see Riley doing better than Pelini long term (as far as wins, that is). If he does as well as Pelini than I'd prefer him but... better would be better. I mean, the writing is on the wall. Michigan has provided the blueprint of how to return to prominence. If we don't follow it, it's our own damn fault. Number 5. Getting it done. Winning. Year 2, without "his guys".....Or Tom Herman..... Quote Link to comment

CharBroiled
I'm pretty sure Langs is using my 1988 NFL Challenge play books for his offense. Quote Link to comment

If he does as well as Pelini than I'd prefer him but... better would be better. Strangely enough, I don't think he was brought in to win more. I think he was brought in to reboot the program and get it in a positive place again. I think he is viewed as a transition coach. Just my opinion I don't think anyone hires a coach for that reason but if he can have a string of decent years while not screaming and being a jack ass then I guess that's a good thing. Well lets get on with the transition. I want to win! Quote Link to comment
