Mavric
So... not the best weekend for Shawn Eichorst. Nebraska athletics wasn’t exactly hitting on all cylinders anyway. But in a span of about 90 hours, Husker volleyball’s dream season came crashing to a halt against Texas, Jordan Westerkamp suffered a knee injury that knocked him out of the bowl game, Mike Riley lost another recruit, Tim Miles’ basketball team lost a “buy” game to the advertising agency Gardner-Webb, Amy Williams’ basketball team got drilled at Creighton and, oh yeah, Bo Pelini won a thriller at Eastern Washington, sending Youngstown State to the FCS national championship game. That last one seems pretty meaningless in the big picture, but it's insult to injury when you realize how much Nebraska is still paying the man ($128,000 a month through February 2019) and how many snarky emails Eichorst probably received from Bolievers still howling at the moon. BigRedBuster
Don't think your link works. But, the Vball team losing, Westerkamp's injury, Bo's win and possibly the recruit leaving should have no negative affects on Eichorst's job performance. Quote Link to comment
Cdog923
Is this Shatel? Or Barfy? Sounds like Barfy, but I don't feel like giving the OWH the clicks for such drivel. 2 Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
Yeah that excerpt reads like a sky is falling message board post. Trolling is...hard Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Shawn Eichorst oversees the entire NU athletic department. When it's a tough weekend for the athletic teams, by extension, it's a tough weekend for the Ginger Assassin. Quote Link to comment

No, not really other than he wants to see the teams win and whatever Bo does after last a year ago, means absolutely nothing to him. BTW....is the underlined supposed to be cute? commando
lot's of negativity from the OWH towards the Big Red lately. Quote Link to comment
Apathy
lot's of negativity from the OWH towards the Big Red lately.Don't blame them. Nebraska has been mediocre for over 15 years. It's depressing when you see other AD's open up the check books to bring in top coaches and/or assistants where Nebraska refuses too. Quote Link to comment
NUance
lot's of negativity from the OWH towards the Big Red lately. Yeah, I've noticed that too. I guess they're generating clicks or something by stirring up the coals. Oh well. It's just typical Weird Herald. : Quote Link to comment
