Danny Bateman
So Son #1, Manafort and the Kush were all in a meeting with this lady, but it was *totally* about an adoption program and not campaign related. Hmmm.... Link to comment
NM11046
Cuz, you know all three of those guys are known for their philanthropic ways. Their work supporting orphans is significant and has been talked about for years. They are always helping out needy kids all over the world. Generous to a fault, empathetic and always trying to do the right thing. 2 Link to comment

funhusker
So if we take Trump Jr at his word he was excited to "collude" with Russia and was disappointed when the woman didn't give the information he wanted. He was then disappointed that she was waste his time trying to discuss ways to help Russian children. Is this really his defense? 1 Link to comment
NM11046
Then my question is ... or rather I'll try to clarify ... don't you only have to prove intent to collude? Not necessarily success in pulling it off? Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Quite a 1-2 punch, on a Sunday no less! And now, let's take a look at the puzzle... Link to comment

Fru
So how are the Trump fanatics going to explain this one away? Trumpers will spout their normal Mountain Dew and chewing tobacco flavored nonsense. I'm more interested in how the GOPers are going to do back flips for this one. They're the ones that have and continue to embolden him. Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I really do enjoy Evan McMullen. Link to comment
BigRedBuster
This is interesting write up about the sources. Like the author of this, I find it interesting that the sources are identified as "White House Advisors" that were briefed on the meeting. Now, don't you think the circle of people who were briefed on this meeting is pretty dang small? From that, don't you think it's pretty easy for Trump Jr. to figure out who leaked this? So....this was deliberate. Because these sources are publicly anonymous, any account of their motivations will necessarily be speculative. Still, this story has all the hallmarks of a deliberate, strategic, White House-approved disclosure, so it’s worth asking just why the White House may have wanted to get this information out there. 1 Link to comment
