The normal fake politician claims to have found religion or evolved when he flip flops. Trump is the only one who told the truth "I played the game because I had to" and supported Ds because he worked in a one party blue town.  That's why political chat is usually and endless tennis game accusations.  If the great leaders were rising from the grave as someone suggested, they would universally tell Trump to stop speaking his mind.  I cannot think of any major politician who so often  and so loudly voiced his thoughts.

Odd, Trump is obviously too honest to be President and nobody outside his inner circle admits it.

That is exactly what I like about him, but the left hates this because then in order to deal with Trump they might have to do the same to counter him.  This dynamic of Trump speaking his mind openly drives the left crazy and in effect has unclothed them completely as to what their real agenda is.  Right now they are pushing socialism, the new green deal, abortion after birth and on and on it goes.  Now the things they really stand for are coming out.  The fight back on PRESIDENT TRUMP, is nothing more than chatter by a dying ideology!

I'm sure that talking point came right off a leftist funded website.  Do you know how much past presidents took time off.  Difference is Trump works were ever he is at and usually does the business of the nation at his properties.  You can certainly have your opinion, your mind is made up, I just see it as anything he does, good or bad, it sour grapes to many people.  A  MAJORITY of people have no problem with how President Trump is performing. And yes we should look back.  We need an accurate view of the past, which we are still trying to get about what happened with the spying on the Trump Campaign from 2015 and later the Trump Administration into 2017 by rouge elements left over from the Obama Administration.  Who gave the orders and directions to attempt this coup of taking down a duly elected POTUS.  I think many in government and the DC swamp have the full story, and the next 6 months should be quite reveling and surprising to many!

This is called corruption. Its not legal for him to be doing it and he is spending american tax dollars to pay himself at his resorts. He and the secret service don't get to just use Trump properties for free. Trump has doubled his membership fees at Mar a lago since becoming President, using his position as a chance to cash in yet again. This is called corruption. You seem to be aware he is doing this, you just don't care! Let me spell it out for you here. The President of the United States cannot be making money from resorts that he and foreign officials frequent. The president cannot own properties and use them for profit while President in the way Trump is doing. It is illegal. The law and order party and the law and order president should be concerned about this blatent corruption one would think.

You guys have run a thread about The Russia Investigation completely off the rails. Take it somewhere else.

Have you ever heard of supply and demand?  If his properties are in great demand, they are then more valuable and are forced to raise prices.  If it was corrupt he would be hiding it.  This is nothing more than sour grapes because you don't like him.  His whole business while president has been turned over to some Trust of banking lawyers and his sons.  He doesn't make those decisions today.  This is no different than having money invested in the Stock Market and the president using good economic policy to help the Stock Market grow.  If that were the case you'd all upset about that too!  There is NO BLATENT corruption, just a talking point used by the left!

ARTICLE 1, SECTION 9, CLAUSE 8No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

Directly out of the constitution. And guess what, we have proof foreign officials have used government funds to pay at Trump properties while he has been President! Further more the consitution also states that Trump can't recieve these same things from domestic government, which he does every time they go to Bedminster or Maralago. The government pays these properties for Trump and the secret service to use them. That is unconstitutional and not a liberal talking point. So you are in support of Trump violating the constitution. Good to know.

I missed the part about his trust which is still not ok lol. He was told by ethics experts from both sides he needed to put his assets in a blind trust, as past presidents have, but instead he put the trust in the hands of his son, who reports to him often about the inner workings of his business. Not exactly removed from the situation and Trump is still sole beneficiary. Its unconstitutional.

I apologize to my fellow posters because this is a tangent.

No, of course not. I know that Trump says stuff that isn't true and that he doesn't mean all the time. It's his supporters that take him at his word, until he says something completely opposite of what he said before and then they have to backtrack and pretend like he didn't really mean the thing he said before.

First of all weird that you had a figurative understanding in response to a literal non-figurative memo. Second of all, Trump hasn't done jack s#!t on..... any of those problems. So good job being wrong I guess.

This is illustrative.

What Trump is really selling is an image. A brand. He's the tough-guy, brash billionaire who made his own fortune by being a shark in the business world and now is going to go put those skills to work in Washington as an outsider against a rigged system, no matter how much it hates him. He's a jerk, but he's going to go be a jerk for you, to finally help the forgotten man. If this is what it takes, so be it.

It's an epic tale and he's the hero.

If you want to believe it, you can put your faith in it. He's selling the feeling. It's fun to be a part of the out-crowd, constantly under siege with the like minded, persecuted for what you believe in. What his supporters feel, the image they buy into - THAT is far more important than what he actually does.

Of course it's all bunk. Trump is a liar and a swindler who inherited his wealth from his father and continued growing it with sleazy business practices, lots of questionable and outright failed projects and of course, good old-fashioned ripping people off. The main way he makes his coin - licensing his last name to slap on other people's buildings - is the most laughably lazy way to make money one could think of.

His schtick always requires an enemy, someone to be called out and shamed, someone who is ripping you off or threatening your very way of life. He keeps people continually aggrieved - always focused on Democrats, the deep state, illegals, globalists - so his supporters don't have time to reflect and notice he's not actually fighting for him. He's lining his pockets and setting himself and his wealthy cronies for life after office. He's the one actually ripping them off, so he's got to give them something to be angry at instead. If he keeps 'em occupied long enough he can do whatever he wants, even if it hurts them. It's all about ownin' the libs and feeling like they're winning.

TL;DR: What he actually does isn't as important as the image or brand he's selling for some folks. Good or bad, it is what it is.

What a total load of BS.

Just because he works in a "D" down, doesn't mean he has to come out publicly supporting abortion rights, climate change, gun legislation.  There are many people in his position that simply donate and never say anything.

I find it really interesting the change in the mantra from Trump supporters.  It went from "Telling it like it is" and "He's going to lock her up" and "He's going to build that wall and Mexico is going to pay for it".....to......Well, he just talks figuratively.  We knew all along that's not what he really meant.

What a total fake turn of attitude.  The only reason why you are supporting him this bad is because he has that R beside his name.  The guy is the fakest idiot I have ever seen in American politics and that R is so damn strong that so many people just keep making excuses for the guy.

It's an amazing (Sad) thing to watch.

Well wouldn't you?  If you were in his shoes and the wiki leaks things was happening to your benefit, wouldn't you go along for a ride to your benefit.  My gosh I'm amazed with the fishing expedition that are happening.  Just shows the left is seriously getting nervous and much more will be coming out.  I'm looking for some false flag stuff to happen so the press doesn't have to report on what Barr will be doing and what he finds.

Trump is lying through his teeth. For something as big as this arrest and he says 'He knows Nothing" and "Wikileaks isn't his thing "  is beyond belief.   You aren't the president of the USA and not know about this big political event unless you were too busy watching Fox and Friends or ignoring all of the briefings because you know more than all of those giving the briefs.  Wiki was sure his thing during the election - Hey Russia it would be nice to get those Clinton emails.   MN you are drowning in your :koolaid2: while you swallow whole every thing this admin:stir

Well put.  This describes the 'CULT LEADER'.  Cult leaders often have nothing of substance but a are skilled at building a 'we against them' situation and recruit people into victim status whereby the savior can lead them out.  Create the image of a need, Position yourself as the solution to that need, Denounce all other solutions.  Thus it is nothing more than a sales pitch.

He has turn the GOP party that was against identity/victim politics into one of the largest victim groups we've ever seen.
