The Dude
He's sitting this year out either way. Obviously it's in his best interest to move on. Quote Link to comment

Yup, no reason to wait. Martinez will be a 4 year starter so it makes no sense for him to stay when he'll fit better in another offense. He obviously has the skillset to start for D1 programs. Yeah, I'll go ahead and guarantee that TG plays to some degree if he stays at Nebraska in 2018, barring him sustaining some kind of injury or some act of God. 1 Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
riding the pine last season and watching Tanner Lee play like s#!t probably didn't help......he knows if AM plays well he will be behind him next year too. he needs to figure it out........either way, he sounds like a good kid. Moiraine
Gebbia will play on Sept. 1 if he’s still on the team, unless the game is close. 3 Quote Link to comment
TopNDoorsOff
I love the kid, and respect and understand his decision to leave. I would bounce as well. He has NFL talent that will not get seen here on the bench. He wants to get to the league and it won't happen in Lincoln. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
Frost's comments are interesting......."some of the decisions i agreed with, some i didn't"........i wonder how they reached this decision...show of hands? Mario?? .........Frost having 2nd thoughts.......if he starts Gebbia and sits Martinez, does AM walk? I doubt it....... Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Speaking of the NFL, has a QB as twiggy as Gebbia ever done well? What’s McCoy up to these days? Quote Link to comment

I wonder if TG accepted the challenge to battle it out for #1 - with a backup plan in mind that if he somehow did not win the job. He's a confident player with good skills. Probably crushed, and probably looking at those alternate plans now after it didn't work out. 1 Quote Link to comment

The Duke
http://nebraska.rivals.com/news/source-gebbia-plans-to-transfer-from-nu Quote A source close to the situation tells HuskerOnline redshirt freshman quarterback Tristan Gebbia plans to transfer from the University of Nebraska. Sad to see, but if true...best of luck to the young man wherever he ends up. Quote Link to comment
