Many problems with doing a base defense that is a prevent, but one in particular is the lack of traction.  Just letting the offense set the tone and rhythm of the game makes for a long day.  I hate passiveness.

Looking at our schedule right now...Northern Illinois only guaranteed win?  Maybe 2-10 this year?

The question as to whether or not we make the new AD the emperor of Nebraska is if the new AD can also make a quality basketball hire.

 We can't get worse.  A team of one star players could probably do better with the right coach behind them.

Stop going to games, stop spending money on the football program, some watching and stop caring.  Hope for someone in charge to make good long range decisions.  We sold out to our gluttony and ego.

I'm sure there will be a good combination of "still learning the new defense" and "we need more talent"

70-10? Yeah...this has shades of this game. Though Eugene is a decidedly better town than Lubbock.
