Mavric
Moos would be silly to not at least inquire with Kelly's people. Even if Frost is the first choice, he should at least be asking around on 3-4 big names just to see what they say. 1 Quote Link to comment
Herb
Chip Kelly has turned down intrest in the Nebraska football head coaching job if and when there is one. Edited November 22, 2017 by Mavric Merged threads Quote Link to comment
Vince R.
Honestly, who cares. "Chip Kelly turns down Nebraska" is a statement that is used to add to his lure. Quote Link to comment
Hooked on Huskers
If I remember right, Utah Utes Urban Meyer turned down after Solich was canned. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Definitely feels like a lot of media from around the country are hearing Kelly to UCLA. Quote Link to comment
I AM FOOT FOOT
Damn Florida gotta be getting nervous if their top two wants for HC say no and go elsewhere. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Lots of reports - ESPN, Yahoo - that Chip is going to UCLA Florida said to be taking another look at Frost Quote Link to comment
Scratchtown
I had a guy up in Oregon just text me saying that Chip is going to meet with Oregon, because Taggart is being linked to the Ole Miss job. I don't even know what to think anymore. Quote Link to comment

I don't know if he was ever interviewed by Pedersen, but Meyer said that he would never go to a school that just fired a coach that won 9 games (Solich went 9-3 in his final season). I don't even know what to think anymore. Thought Taggart already turned down Ole Miss. This decision by Taggart would make zero sense if his ultimate goal is to get back to Florida. He currently has the top recruiting class and he's getting top recruits without using Willie Lyles. Tag art may leave to Florida or fsu, but don't see him giving up what he has at Oregon to go to ole miss. Also so don't think Kelly would go back to Oregon. He did what he could there, it was lightning in a bottle for both he and the Ducks. Don't think he can recapture that in a much more difficult conference. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
With regards to Taggart, it would surprise me if a black coach took a job at a school where the team name is a reference to the south’s side of the Civil War and their mascot is a plantation owner. Quote Link to comment
