Why is it that you all think the answer only lies in a former husker?  Why Parella instead of Williams?  Bray?

You know how absolutely simplistic you all sound when you just continue naming former huskers as the answers to our troubles?

You are right,

Mike Knobler for DC!

What has Bray or Williams done to deserve the interim spot?

Im ok with whoever it is only if it’s not Diaco or Riley running the ship

Well, not all of us think that.  Also, he (Parella) is the one suggested in the quote that started this thread, so I assume people are responding to that.  Finally, suggesting that "we all" sound simplistic makes you sound like a know it all in the very same breath.

I don’t think it’s simplistic at all. It’s merely expressing a desire for a certain culture and style of play that was good and that we haven’t seen the likes of for about 16 years. The answer we seek may very well not only lie in a former Husker but it seems like a pretty safe bet that does, much safer than anything related to the last three coaches or anyone they brought into the program. We haven’t had any success with bringing outsiders in so maybe it is time we try it another way.
