khaake
Um... looks like the remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon could be in the area next Saturday. Because why not. 1 Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
Should just be rain and wind though right? I live in Biloxi so we are about to see this storm tomorrow afternoon. Quote Link to comment

I live in Biloxi so we are about to see this storm tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully. I doubt it would be very stormy. It's so far out its pretty hard to tell one way or another - it might totally dissipate by then or pass us well off to the southeast. Just a little disconcerting that the NHC currently has it in the general area early next weekend. 1 Quote Link to comment

Well, rain would be okay, as long as the lightning stays away. Hopefully it passes to the east. Quote Link to comment

Moiraine
Right now we're supposed to have morning showers on Saturday. Also, the thunderstorm that was forecast for the 15th has moved to the 17th. *crosses fingers* 1 Quote Link to comment
Making Chimichangas
If by Wednesday it appears that weather will again be an issue, I hope they'd have the foresight to flip the location and play at Colorado. Again, not ideal but it would be better than no game at all or playing inside the Hawkes Center. P.S. Just trying to think outside thr box and offer possible solutions instead of cancelling another game due to weather so no one needs to run down the "it can't be done" list. 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
Tropical Storm Gordon is brewing in the Gulf and the current cone has the remnants of the system (mainly rain and wind) hitting Northern Kansas by 8:00 AM on Saturday. If that would hold then Lincoln would likely be getting some showers out of it, but hopefully not lighting that would delay the game. https://weather.com/storms/hurricane/news/2018-09-03-tropical-storm-gordon-forecast-florida-gulf-coast Edited September 3, 2018 by Mavric Merged threads Quote Link to comment
Flood
I'm sitting in the far northern fringe of this storm right now in Tampa. It's booming a LOT where I am but no real wind and not much rain so far. It's just weird to think that the storm I am experiencing now could affect the game on Saturday. I hope the schools and network get some pre-planning done for any possible outcome. 1 Quote Link to comment
