lo country
I have said it every year since 2009. If Ganz had one more year, we'd have a NC.............Or Martinez a year earlier....... 2 Quote Link to comment

Undone
Our 2019 recruiting class ranking is going to either give more or less credence to this, depending on where it falls. But looking back, the difference between Pelini/Riley and Frost is neither Pelini/Riley had any kind of "national attention factor" to: -Land a really, really good quarterback -Land Top 20 recruiting classes Frost has already done the first thing. If he does the second thing, this program dominates the West and gets back on the map. 2 Quote Link to comment

SECHusker
Personally think Frost inherited a bigger mess than Pelini. Frost had to deal with a team that had little to no accountability; was severely out of shape; a 2017 class that has been completely wiped out; and arguably more physical league. Pelini had his difficulties, but no where near the issues Frost inherited. 6 1 Quote Link to comment
jager
When Pelini started the players still cared. When Frost started he had to teach the players not to quit. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
The most significant, tangible difference between Pelini's first year and Frost's is inherited talent. 2 Quote Link to comment
