bugeater17
The more I read about Tuioti the more I like about his recruiting prowess (instrumental in landing Michigan the #3 class) and ties to the West Coast. Also, he clearly had some impact in the defensive turnaround at Cal. Hard to say, but this may be an upgrade at the D line spot over Dawson to address areas of need for the coaching staff. That's funny, because with the recent history of Nebraska football hires, I find myself skeptical at first. Again, nothing against him. He seems more than qualified. Quote Link to comment

Gives us some room for extensions and bonuses in the future. Huge increase for Tuioti as well - especially considering the cost of living and housing market in the Bay area to Lincoln. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I wouldn’t say I’m skeptical, but I am reserved. The big question mark is how much he’s moved around. Not the biggest problem on the surface, but makes it even harder than it already is to assess his impact at those places. 1 Quote Link to comment

Yep, that's another thing. With his frequent changing of jobs, you can't help but wonder how long he'll be here.... And yes, reserved is a better word for it. Quote Link to comment

Coaching in Berkeley, CA, it would make sense if he lived over the hill nearer to Concord. MUCH cheaper housing than in the Bay. Quote Link to comment

teachercd
Nice raise, it would be tough to turn that down. Add in the difference in the cost of living and that is like a 150K raise. Quote Link to comment
