Pedro G
I remember many years ago when Osborne was coaching — don’t remember the year and the team we were playing — we had a thunderstorm during the first half, and teams were forced to leave the field because the lightning got really bad. But about a half hour later, the game started up again. Anyone remember the year? Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
As long as there is none of this Then it's all good. Last year's game never got started. Quote Link to comment

Seems like they said on TV that there were stadium lights that went off, and the coaches decided to continue with the game since the majority was played and the lightning stopped. Anything more than 3 days is pretty much an educated guess. Everything is an educated guess when it comes to Nebraska weather, haha. 1 Quote Link to comment

Tom Osborne said in an article he'd never had a rain delay much less so much lightning during a game and had to rush to the locker room. A heavy thunderstorm hit Lincoln quickly during that game.
