You're right, but we all know he's not the type to ever take the high road.

And just to show what I'm talking about with the hypocrisy of this whole fake outrage...

Note that the WHO named the disease covid-19 on Feb 11, which was several weeks AFTER that CNN tweet but over a month before Trump's comments.

But regardless, Trump keeps deliberately using the wrong name on purpose. Are you really going to defend that?

2. He knows the media are going to make a big deal over it and further exemplify why the media in this country is a propagandized joke

So, let me get this straight. If Trump runs down the street naked and the media reports on it, Trump is normal and only doing it because knows the left wing radical media is going to report on it.

Do I have that right?

LOL yeah I really don't care what you think. I'm not a Trump homer, but I'm willing to go to bat when criticisms are ridiculous and hypocritical like this one... This is literally me on this board:

Damn it! We do have something in common. I don't care what you think either.

The problem is, nobody is forcing you to repeatedly defend Trump. You think it's okay for him to stigmatize Chinese people by being a bigot and childishly wrongly calling Corona or Covid-19 something that absolutely nobody who knows jack sh#t is calling the virus or disease. No, you choose to defend that and then feign acting like you are just being reasonable and are being forced into it. Bullsh#t. There's only two choices; you either want to defend him or you are too ....... to see how it is wrong for the President to act this irresponsibly. Trump is a f#¢king idiot child and knows he can get away with this crap because people like you will accept it and act like it's normal behavior. It's not normal and it's not acceptable.

Now go back to not caring what anybody thinks of you. You're good at it.

I'd just like to kindly remind all my P&R friends that there are disinformation campaigns that have hundreds, if not thousands of workers who dedicate their lives to trying to confuse the populace on a daily basis.

When you're confronted daily with someone who implacably defends Chief Orange Face, you have to ask yourself if it's:

1) one of these misinformation specialists, or

2) someone who's been duped by these misinformation specialists.

And if it's either #1 or #2, you have to ask yourself: What's the merit in continuing to respond to such a person?

The same merits that are always present in debates and discussions: that someone will learn something even if it's not the person you're responding to.

You're mistakenly presuming this is a discussion, not a disinformation campaign.

Also gentle reminder that Trump wants us having having a discussion about how he is a race-baiting a$$h@!e because it prevents us from having the discussion about how badly he mangled the response to this thing and how incredibly stupid and irresponsible he acted.

Remember, these people have no problems with getting people to chase their tails if it distracts what is actually bad for them.

Good points.

Damn I wish we could force a control group on this thing.

Maybe pick one state in the country where we send 100 sick people and do nothing. Another where we send 100 sick people that has full quarantine. Then see what happens.

'Cause if the quarantine works, a bunch of idiots are gonna say we never should've had the quarantine because it wasn't a big deal.
