You're assuming Mueller had an agenda to destroy Trump, when in fact he is a Republican who was chosen precisely for his integrity and reputation. His investigation came with strict limits (you really should read the Report) and reached as many conclusions as the available facts made possible. That the Mueller Report both disappointed Democrats and refused to exonerate Trump suggests it was pretty successful after all, assuming we're all good with the truth.

Going strictly on tax evasion, are the charges against Hunter Biden remotely close to the charges that have been hanging over Donald Trump (and his father) for decades?

Michael Cohen went to jail for tax issues (and lying to Congress).  
 

Inner city kids go to jail all the time for gun charges while in possession of drugs.
