If you go back and look half the kids either didn't contribute or didn't make it here and while for all the good points you brought up about Zac Taylor and Marlon Lucky and Suh it shouldn't be considered a top 10 national ranking bc we are talking overall picture. Decent class with good pieces, not so good bc of the other part of it. Other teams in the top 10 might have guys that didn’t contribute or didn’t make it too. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I understand that but we were ranked 8th. Maybe when it was all said and done maybe we should have been in the 15th range. Quote Link to comment

The longer this drags out the more I think Nebraska isn't the school he is going to choose. I think for the most part high profile recruits want to play for a winning established school. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Caliborn72
This says to look for Oregon, USC, and Georgia but mentions us and TCU as dark horses. Quote Link to comment
MyBloodIsRed16
still have a year to impress him. Just have to put an offense on the field he might want to play under. 2 Quote Link to comment

If Nebraska was a winning program then it would be much easier to convince him but since they are not good luck to Matt Rhule and the staff. That's what they get paid big dollars for. It’s on Rhule to pull him in, and, if not, find a super quality replacement that he can win with. Sadly. In my heart, Dylan was already signed. Quote Link to comment

Maybe he's not in a hurry this time around. it's not like there are bunch of teams that wouldn't take a commitment from him. Coach Rhule has all the way until he actually signs with someone to be in his ear. Are the odds in our favor, probably not. Quote Link to comment

But, QBs usually commit reasonably early, so they can help recruit other skill players around them. Yes, he was committed to OSU. Things changed. Not sure what. Obviously, nothing significantly changed at OSU like the coach. I figured it was our coaching change that made him do it. So, I'm very surprised there are others that look to take him away from us. But....maybe he's still thinking we are #1 and just wanting to go through the motions taking visits. Quote Link to comment
