Warrior10
Did anyone catch Callahan on Big Red WrapUp tonight saying that Courtney Love is weighing his options? Quote Link to comment
Decked
Saw on the 247 board that he may want to transfer to Kentucky. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
He is kinda buried, but we are extremely thin at LB. Quote Link to comment
LumberJackSker
I'm surprised he got so little playing time considering how bad the linebackers were outside of Anderson Quote Link to comment
BigRedPowerWagon
What does this half to do with football. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
Hed be best to wait for the new staff obviously to get a good take on the direction of things 2 Quote Link to comment
onlyHskrfaninIL
He would be stupid to transfer to an FBS school and lose a year. He should have a chance to play quite a bit next year. And maybe even start if Mike Rose isn't ready. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Love came to Nebraska because of Marrow. If Love did not enroll early at Nebraska, he would already be at Kentucky. Also, did no one notice that the year after Marrow left, our recruiting of Ohio became nonexistent? No, it wasn't a coincidence either. Glad we kept Barney and let Marrow walk. Quote Link to comment

And maybe even start if Mike Rose isn't ready. There's no downside to Love (or anyone else) to stick around and attend UNL this coming semester, Is there? I mean, if he was going to transfer he would still lose next season (2015) regardless of whether he stayed in Lincoln for the coming semester or transferred right away. What about if he (or anyone else) stayed in Lincoln, attended second semester classes, and participated in spring and summer practice? Would they still only sit out only the 2015 season? I'm guessing it wouldn't affect the 2016 season, right? (Not rhetorical. I'm asking because I don't know.) I'm asking because I think there's no downside for someone like Cortney to wait around to check out the new coaching staff. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
i think it's enrolling in fall classes that triggers things. so he could stay for spring/summer and be fine, then transfer. however, it's likely in the best interest of both him and the school he's transferring to if he can get into the program and start practicing as quickly as possible. teachercd
I don't blame him...you get to that crossroads and you have to think about it...will I play...will I get a chance (one would think he would now)...do I want to try something new... I bet it crosses the minds of most guys that have been on any team and they realize half their time (or so) is up and they are not playing a lot. Quote Link to comment

Even more reason to cross fingers we can land Tressel. Because when it comes to Ohio, Tressel > Marrow. Quote Link to comment
