Will Honas- any updates on him? Honas may sign today between NU, K-State, and Iowa, but he also got a late offer from Wisconsin. If Honas doesn't sign today, he may look to visit Wisconsin in January and decide after that. Iowa and Wisconsin start their Spring semesters a week after NU. If he doesn't sign with NU today, it's not ideal for NU. Quote Link to comment

This. I don't think depth was much of an issue. You can always have more but we weren't bad. It was figuring out which guys should be playing. Apparently no one getting any reps if you were a starter doesn't help develop depth. 2 Quote Link to comment

It's amazing that Farniok started the year at RT, got injured and then was featured on the side of a milk carton, and then finished the year starting at RG. This was after Decker couldn't sniff the field behind Cole Conrad, and then after Conrad was injured, Decker came in and the ENTIRE o-line play improved. The way Cavanaugh handled the o-line room and seemed like he was just throwing darts at the wall was infuriating. 2 Quote Link to comment

Caliborn72
It will be interesting to see how things play out. It seems like most teams left a few spots open intentionally. I know USC is expecting a big January like they always get. 7 more recruits seems like a lot and that’s assuming Masry, Smith, and Woodyard are signing. Not sure we had much choice given the timeframe, and I have no doubt that our coaches will wow a lot of recruits over the next month, but it could get a little dicey with the numbers.
