Bryant, Kalu and Knevel all out this weekend. Bradley missed Thursday's practice due to illness. Bleh.

Don't forget: Riley is still scheduled to speak after practice.

Everybody - go to the Giordano's FB page and vote to bring their next location to Omaha.

Has anybody ever shipped anything to Nebraska from Ikea? I think the closest one is in Kansas and items get shipped by a third party. Just curious if you had a positive experience.

House party at @knapplc's if we reach the $500 donation threshold.

If you could eliminate any penalty in football, what would you choose and why?
I'd choose false starts (and the defensive counterpart offsides). You could still blow the play dead, but don't waste time explaining the call or allowing the teams to re-huddle and call in new plays. Just force them to line up and get after it. -
Just your annual reminder that Die Hard is not, and will never be, a Christmas movie.

Papuchis as NC's DC reminds me a lot of his years at Nebraska. They'll get Louisville into 3rd and long and then get ripped on a RB crossing route.

So many emotions as a Vikings fan right now. Extreme joy. Shock. Awe. What an incredible play and ending.

The Trifecta has begun anew. Thank you for your service, fro daddy.

This Darrell Brooks trial has been crazy. I'm generally in favor of cameras in court rooms, but this is one of the few times I've felt it was a bad idea.

This is not good and very sad...

I hate to speculate, but I'm fairly certain Stothert's husband (a very successful trauma doc) is in his early 70's. Scanner traffic claimed an apparent suicide. -
Tough road for Andy Hoffman continues according to his latest update. Keeping the good thoughts and hopes flowing.

Vala's Pumpkin Patch is quickly turning into the Disney of the Midwest.
Every year since 2016, my work has offered discounted tickets. They used to be $10 each. I just got an email today about the tickets. They're now discounted to $17.99/ticket for a weekday (full price is $19.99) and $34.99/ticket for the weekend (full price is $39.99).
So, for the amount of tickets I was going to buy, I can either save $18 for the weekday or $45 for the weekend. Obviously that's better than full price, but not by much when you consider how much things on the inside cost now, too. Just wild what that place has turned in to. I'm all for capitalism but... geesh.- Show previous comments 11 more

If you were in HS it is probably a fun place to go since there is little supervision and you could totally sneak in vapes and booze.
If you are a mom it is probably a cool place to go just so you can really push the limits of your husband's patience, really send him near that breaking point and then top if all off with getting him and and having super tired cranky kids and letting him know that you are going to bed early since you are worn out. Maybe also letting him know that saying "thank you" to the girl that gave you your change after buying a 14 dollar funnel cake seemed a bit "too flirty"

@Red Fivethats actually the perfect description haha.
I will say that It is regarded as one of the best in the country and there truly is a lot of stuff to do. They have their own train ride, haunted houses, tons of attractions and shows, rentable camp sites/fire pits, etc. It also holds a lot of sentimental value to me because I started going in the early 90s as a kid, but it also used to cost only a couple bucks to get in. Now they just keep expanding every year and finding new reasons to slap another $5 onto admission.

That's about 25% more than Fritzler's Corn Maze here. https://www.fritzlerfarmpark.com/
But Fritzler's has GOATS, acrobatic goats and pumpkin cannons.

Was there a food you hated while growing up, only to realize later you hated it because it was made poorly?
I (think) I have a pretty big one: steak. I really did not like actual steaks growing up... ribeyes, T-bones, the like. But it was because I didn't know anything about steaks and my parents would often cook them medium to well done and served with A1. It wasn't until I got older and had well-cooked steaks that I realized I liked them a lot.

@Danny Bateman I had a somewhat similar experience. My earliest memories of asparagus were out of a can. I didn't "hate" it, but I definitely didn't like it. I remember my dad made oven baked asparagus one time when I was about 10 and I thought "where the hell as this been?"

Well, that's a new one - Suh grabbing an opponent by the throat...

What's a song that's almost entirely opposite of your general music tastes, but you can't help enjoying?

Whether it's misguided or not, I appreciated that Green/Bounds approached the program tradition head on and didn't shy away from it. I appreciated their candor. We don't see that often in athletics anymore.
