  1. This new Terry Bradshaw commercial for shingles awareness is... Creepy? Bizarre? Arousing?

You're aroused by Terry Bradshaw? That is creepy.

You'd think Miles would have used a timeout there for review.

Then Foster clearly leads with his helmet on that last tackle.

      I'm good with having Ameer.

  11. Minnesota's offensive system reminds me of ours. Except they feature the TE. If we come out on point we should be able to do some things vs. Iowa.

    1. True2tRA

      True2tRA

You're right, I got to watch some of that game and I noticed they do similar things we do. Two big differences. One, they use two backs and move their TE's a lot from what I saw. Two, another major difference, they are fine with settling for a short pass and taking what the defense gives them. We go downfield even when it's covered completely.

I think number two has a lot to do with Armstrong's perceived strengths at this point True. We all know his best throw is the deep ball. Also, I wonder if Beck uses the deep pass to keep the safeties from creeping up...?

    3. True2tRA

      True2tRA

Sure Beck does, but the deep ball isn't the only way to do that. Also, I agree, it is a strength of Tommy's, but it is also a fault of his and his WR's that we go to the well so often.

  12. I wish Winston ripped off something less expensive, like eggs or tomatoes. That way, if and when his sham of a team makes the playoff, fans could pelt him with those.

  15. Prince out for year with torn biceps. Dang... He was really coming into his own this year too,

  16. Wiscy's #1 defense? Their opponents have a combined record of 36-34 and not ONE top 25 offense in there. Highest ranked is Bowling Green at 38th in scoring and 36th in total offense.

FWIW, Purdue's defensive ranks are awful. And we generated 300 yards of offense against them. At home.

    4. FrankWheeler

      FrankWheeler

FWIW, Miami's defensive ranks are really good, especially on a yards per play basis. And we generated 300 yards rushing against them.

  17. Tastes bad, but we're 8-1. I'm happy we keep racking up wins. We've got a ton to work on though. And a RB to get healthy.

  18. Loving how WV is giving TCU exactly what they deserve for running up the score last week...

Just made five pizzas for the crew. Two combos (one without mushrooms for the heathens), one Peeze Chizza for the youngun's, one sausage & mushroom, one bacon & bleu cheese for the connoisseurs among us.

But for Omaha, if that's your thing, go to Zio's.
