I have never been to a gymnastics meet or a wrestling match.  Been to one softball game, one soccer match.

I may have been to a wrestling match as a kid, but I don't remember. And I've only watch soccer as I walked by the field on campus or played YMCA soccer at Abbot.

I want to see a match at Hibner. It looks like a really neat stadium.

I think it's probably easier to learn in Mi since the runs are pretty short. We will definitely be hitting some of the hills around here before winter is over.

I believe Frost is done opining for UCF publicly. It's (officially) not his job anymore and it wouldn't do much good at this point. It made sense yesterday given that he was coaching the game and asked the question.

I get the point of the question and that you were being a little facetious but it's time for Frost to start solely focusing on Nebraska.

Lessons?  Are you at all athletic?  Like...can you ice skate?  Can you walk and chew gum?  Can you dunk?  Okay...nevermind...take the lessons.  Everyone told me it was just like ice skating...I have played hockey since I was 13...guess what...it is nothing like ice skating.  Watch the movie Frozen (not the kids one, the other one)  good luck!

Yep, take a lesson your first day. Unless you have experience with skateboarding, surfing, wake boarding, etc, you will probably pick up skiing much faster.  Keep your ski length short.  Shorter skis are easier for newbies to pivot/turn.  Don't go down black slopes.  Probably avoid blues.  Snow pants are a must.  Bring a flask of whiskey and share it on the chair lift.  Wear comfy ankle or knee length socks.  Helmet is probably not needed (you should't be getting anywhere near a tree on your first few days.)  Goggles are better than glasses if the snow is falling or blowing.  Otherwise, sunglasses are better.  If it's reaaaally cold, wear a neck gaiter.  Drink Rumplemintz and hot chocolate at the end of the day, followed by venison & buffalo chili.  

Meh, you could probly skip lessons.  Lessons spend a couple hours teaching you to snowplow, when you could figure that out yourself in about ten minutes.  Just stick to the easiest bunny slopes and practice going from snowplowing to skiing with your skis parallel.  And learn how to fall down without breaking anything.  Maybe just watch a few youtube lessons ahead of time.  /jmho

The 10th mountain one's are pretty slick too with weather snow camo helmets (fitting for the weather there).

And there’s the downside. This will be the longest off season ever but at least there is rational hope now. As we’re waiting impatiently we can be calmed by the fact this team will truly be getting better and better by the day.

Take care of business in the season and you won't have to complain about not being in the playoff.  I think what makes college football special is the importance of the regular season.

You can't have a two loss B1G team but they sure didn't have a problem with Aburn in the playoffs if they won the SEC. Funny.

Well that was an all star crew of B1G officials. Figures they’d call a poor game. I haven’t been impressed with the officiating in this conference at all. Call ticky tacky stuff all day long but blow blatant game changing calls.

The SEC title game had a few calls like that, too. 

There was a holding/block in the back call in the 4th qtr on a long gain by Wisky I thought was tacky tack also.

Honestly, I hope he doesn't have anything to do with it anymore, let the man be, he gave so much to this program just leave him in peace.

Its just some bad chest congestion. Coughing, gasping for air. Other than that don’t really feel too bad. Wife is cooking, she wisely won’t let me anywhere near the food/kitchen. The aroma is killing me, normally I’d be in there sneaking some samples...

My dad's got pneumonia, but he's doing alright. He was short of breath earlier this week so my mom was finally able to take him to a clinic haha

ZRod, how is it this morning in your neck of the woods? Anymore to report on the big fire of last night?

I guess it left an 18 foot crater. The fire burned itself out after about an hour and a half, had to burn through 7 miles of gas in the line. No injuries reported.

I'll probably see how close I can get to it this weekend
