Yeah, this was 5 years of graduate school in the making. Have a one year internship I have to complete before they give me the degree though.

What did your dissertation cover?

I did the first randomized clinical trial of a form of therapy. So compared that therapy to a watchful wait list condition. I covered outcomes, differential outcomes, and a mediation analysis.

I think it'll be a good idea to bring in a third party off-site to discuss replays, I hope it applies to targeting/ejections as well. I would like officials to get away from the "when in doubt, throw them out" mentality and let a committee gather to go over questionable targeting fouls to determine whether an ejection should occur.

Continue to let the kid play if it is iffy, then when the dust settles a day or two after the game, let other individuals not involved in the heat of the moment make the call.

Development and system change probably has had a large effect on that. All new system guys are young and older guys and playing out of their original system they were recruited for. Also, development on the defensive side of the ball has been lacking under Banker.

We would also have a couple potential 1-3 rounders on the DL if Hughes wasnt a joke.

I think everyone is supportive of the program, and most supportive of the players. This recruit is smart. He committed to the school and the program. Not the coaches. If your good enough and work hard you'll play no matter who the coach is(excluding Cavanaugh of course).

Like it or not, most recruits commit to the coach. He's the face of the program, for them. He's most likely the one that will be leading them for the duration of their time at the school. The program (including the fans) is still a huge selling point. What's dangerous is one side of that equation is dissatisfied with the other and begins to crap on them to players or recruits. We've seen too much of that the last few years and I hope that garbage goes away and never comes back.

That's the most we've heard from Matt Snyder all season.

Yeah, she was really nice while they were winning. Rest of the folks around me were really nice though. Overall: better than WI fans, worse than MI fans. From the big 10 away games I've been to.

I wish people would take advantage of both bye weeks. Have 2 weddings tomorrow and they're predominately the same friends going to them but one's 3 hours north and the other in Lincoln.
