I was surprised as well. I thought McGowens had a better year, but Branham has a higher ceiling. I think you should give out the award to the one with that had the better season. Unfortunately, these awards rarely go to the person that actually deserves them.

As a OSU and Bengals fan, I’m glad he transferred to LSU and found success. Worked out very well for him and the Bengals. It isn’t like osu is in a bad spot. 

Most OSU fans don't understand how good they have it and how lucky they are with the last 3 coaching transitions. Most don't understand how good Justin Fields was for OSU and how difficult it is to play redshirt freshman at the QB position with little experience behind him and a true freshmen running back as the feature back.

Ohio State broke them last year. They really broke them the year before but the refs decided to help them out a bit. 

In all seriousness, I think it is the combination that Dabo is a good not great coach and their offense hasn't developed. They don't have Watson or TL to fall back on. Maybe other teams have figured out how to hide their offensive signals a little bit better as well. 

Sinclair is pure greedy. I can’t watch the Reds because of them. I also can’t purchase the  mlb.tv package because I am in market. 

@admo I think Notre Dame would be the job that would bring him back to the college ranks. 

@RedSavage Drop a regular season game then. Also, top G5 team should automatically get in with an 8 team playoff. 

Make this a real NCAA playoff. 

I am sure he already gets plenty of calls from other college teams and even from the nfl.

I hope he stays at Iowa State and I think a place like that suits him well. 

I don't know if it is the lamest or coolest but I have an autograph from Ickey Woods. I have one from Jeff Georgie from his rookie season. He was supposed to be the next big thing but it seems like he didn't want to talk to anyone at training camp that year. I think Anthony Muñoz might have been one a the nicest guys that I interacted with as a kid. Going to training camps in the late 80 and early 90s was great if you wanted to meet players. I don't think they have that kind of access anymore.

Outside of Lawrence, who is currently better than him in college football? Last year only Burrow and Lawrence were better than him. He had a great year last year and that was his first year as a starter. I am not sure why you don't see why people love him. 

I don't think a Michigan Man can say much about OSU at this point.

@knapplc sorry, I couldn't resist. I will say, I do want Nebraska to be good again. I have respect for historic programs with passionate fan bases. I also like Frost and I want him to succeed.

@NUance @C N Red my town of 3k has over 10 deaths due to covid-19. They were in a long term care facility but it wasn't like they all would of dropped dead due to other causes within a three week time period. I guess they were old so we shouldn't count them. You can cherry pick all sorts of things to try and make it sound better than it really is, but people are dying from this. 

If you know a doctor, please ask them to tell how they fill out death certificates. It is very informative and really straight forward.
