zoogs
Oh boy...you'll regret this Blaine...you know what we do to QBs who commit to Nebraska and then change their mind? </trashtalk> hehe... Quote Link to comment
westgatehusker
good luck Gabbert, no problem with this. he committed to a pro scheme and that will change. anyways I don't remember anyone mad the that rieff kid decommited and came to us. people don't mind recruit's changing their mind when it's to their school. it is funny he said he wasn't gonna pull a freeman though Quote Link to comment
zoogs
To be fair, he didn't really pull a Freeman. Anyway - best of luck, and we're going to pound Mizzou for years to come...you shoulda come to KSU game, Blaine! Ah well. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
Hey, they trashed you horribly for committing to us. Short memory. Quote Link to comment
wsccubsfan19
According to the Kansas City Star, Blaine Gabbert, who was once orally committed to Nebraska, decided on Saturday he's going to Missouri. Gabbert, out of Parkway West in suburban St. Louis, is rated by Rivals.com as five-star recruit and the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the Class of 2008. http://www.journalstar.com/blog/huskers.ph...p;tb=1&pb=1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
This isn't the same Blaine Gabbert who "decided" he was going to Nebraska a while ago, is it? I'm not too concerned with this kid's decisions until Signing Day. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
Good for him now run along! Quote Link to comment
newenglandhusker
Good for him now run along! I agree. He obviously isn't a Husker at heart, which is too bad. I wish him moderate success at Mizzou so long as it does not interfere with restoring the order of the Big 12 North. Quote Link to comment
wsccubsfan19
Who cares. just news. and it is relevant. 5 star quarterbacks aren't bad. also i think it is hard to blame the kid. you only get one chance to play college football. would you want to come into a situation like this? the situation is completely different than Josh Seaman. Are any of us putting that much into this rating system anymore? Anyway, good for him. Go play for Gary Pinkel and see how many conference championships you get! By the way, does anybody but me wonder how Freeman feels today? He chose KSU over NU and has lost both times to us. I am sorry we missed out on him, but with performances likes Ganz's today it makes it not seem like such a big deal. That only makes me realize we can't fret over any recruit we don't get.... cause you just don't know if they will ever work out. Anybody believe Freeman would be the strater here if he had come? After today, I sure don't think so. He wouldn't have last year with Zac and could he have beaten out Joey? I don't think so, and I BELIEVE that is the real reason he went to KSU. As for Gabbert... Hope you enjoy playing for the same fans sent you and your family death threats. Hope eveything goes well for you... as long as it's not at the hands of the Huskers! Quote Link to comment
Apathy
Who cares about Gabbert....he's been out pretty much this whole season. We still have great talent at QB and when we get Bo Pelini as our head coach we'll get a lot of people to come back to us. Quote Link to comment
Dan_F_30
Good for him now run along! Yes, we saw how Freeman was treated by the D today. It'll only be the same for Gabbert in years to come. Hope he's ready! Quote Link to comment

I'm thinking he's probably pretty happy that he hasn't wasted 2 years playing for Callahan. Quote Link to comment
