Minnesota_husker
If he wants to throw away his college career he will pick the Illini.. Honestly who would turn on offers from ND, NU and FSU for Illinois? Link to comment
huskernation20
Marvin Sanders is visiting CC today. You can lock it, he will bring home Corey's pledge. Link to comment

RockyMountainOySker
Talk about a nice piece of news to hear this morning! It would surprise me if Coop picks any other school than Nebraska. If we can steal Coop and Owa, I might quit my job, move back to Nebraska, and live under an overpass near the stadium for the next 5 years. Here to the staff doing a great job..... Link to comment
Herd Husker
let's hope marv brings his A game and finally reels in Cooper!!! Link to comment

HuskerBruin
Unbelievable turn of events. Sounds like Cooper's head is spinning right now. Hopefully Marvin can set it straight for him. Link to comment

Danimal
I was impressed with the hires Zook made this offseason in Koennig and Petrino, surprised either came to work for a coach that was very lucky to keep his job and will be on the hotseat in '10. Illinois should be an improved team this year with those hires, but Zook is still just not a good HC. He has been at Illinois for five seasons and has had one good one. Cooper would be better-off here, he knows who his coaches will be and that they will make him better as a safety and student. Link to comment
Nexus
I'd like to think the added benefit of having Coach Sanders on this visit today with Cooper is the fact that Sanders himself is an Illinois native. So they have that in common. Sometimes that can ease a kids mind when making a decision of this magnitude. Link to comment
