trob0508
Priest is going to be good, but no way he beats out Mitchell JR, SJB Sr, Green Sr, Evans Sr, Siesay Sr, Jackson Soph. However with 4 seniors leaving he will be coming into an excellent spot come his redshirt fresman year, and probably play for 4 years. Im sure he sees that. If we end up getting him here our chances are going to go up dramatically. He has cancelled nearly all his visits thus far... 2 to LSU one to ND. We might just pull this one off, we have a pretty good situation going....redshirt and your playing for 4 years. We know it takes atleast a year to learn the defense, and honestly we dont need him to play next year. He would certainly beat out Evans. He is not fast enough to cover receivers coming across the middle. He is constantly trailing them and gets bailed out because they have dropped alot of passes. Evans is one of the biggest weak links on our defense. Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
This guy is the numero uno on our recruiting board! I would imagine he would start from day one at Nebraska where if he were to go to LSU or USC he would have to work hard to even see the field as a freshman because of their depth. Not saying he couldnt because I think he is that talented but it would be much more difficult! Of course I want him in but I might cry if he goes to Michigan:( Priest is going to be good, but no way he beats out Mitchell JR, SJB Sr, Green Sr, Evans Sr, Siesay Sr, Jackson Soph. Him coming here and redshirting would be ideal for our situation. I just don't know if we will be able to keep him off the field! Quote Link to comment

Your gonna see charles jackson chasing everybody everywhere. like fowler said the system is complicated. jackson may be the most talented db we have but he has to learn the system first then he will be huge for our secondary Quote Link to comment

dylan
Yup. Evans has improved. Many consider him our best defender so far this year. Quote Link to comment
totengur
Get a guy in for a visit anything can happen, plus LSU and/or USC could fill-up. I think LSU nearly is. they were talking on ESPN about a DB LSU nearly has locked up that they claim too be the next 'honey badger'. I think you are right, we have an opportunity here. but who knows. CMT1525
when and if he officials. we absolutely have to put the full court press on him. and I believe we will do that. we need something to put us over the top. Quote Link to comment

He isn't your typical corner, but he is more physical and just solid this year. Quote Link to comment
C N Red
Ive been as big a Ciante critic as anyone. He is definitely finally getting it this year. He has been great so far on run support but im still a little skeptical on his pass coverage. He got flat beat on one play last week that was luckily underthrown for a TD and he basically had to faceguard to make sure pass wasnt completed. But i will give him jis due, he has looked much better this year so far. Quote Link to comment

PaulCrewe
Ciante has been playing better than he has before but still is a liability in coverage. Always has been. If he wasn't beat on a play he has benefited from balls being under thrown since his first game. Any ways back to the topic. Priest is the grand poobah left on the board. Don't think it is as improbable as some may make it seem Quote Link to comment

BIG ERN
Commitment status: The top uncommitted player in the West holds more than 30 offers but is in no hurry to make a commitment. Who's in the driver's seat: No program holds a definitive lead for Willis, but he will take official visits to LSU, Nebraska and Notre Dame, among others. Other candidates: Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, UCLA, USC and Washington Dark horse: Arizona State. They might not be on the level of some of the other programs on Willis' list due to a rough finish to the 2011 season, but with a new staff and a strong start this season, the Sun Devils could be a team to watch. Willis has talked in the past about committing to the same school as good friend and fellow safety Tahaan Goodman (Calif./Rancho Cucamonga). They will take visits to LSU and Nebraska together, but Willis still has 16 schools he is considering and won't rush into a decision. Quote Link to comment
