Apathy
Here is a picture of Martinez with Nevada QB Cody Fajardo, QB instructor Steve Calhoun, and Washington QB Keith Price. Here is a link to the QB camp flyer. Now I got this off of the Rivals board but what bugs me is that people are bitching about how he went to a no name QB instructor who hasn't coached well known QB's when they should be focusing on the fact that Martinez is putting in his time over breaks to improve his game and ability at the QB position. Its not hard to see that Martinez did improve from his Freshmen season to his Sophomore season so I'm really eager to see what he can do for us this season. I love Martinez commitment to this team and wanted to be a better Football player. 3 Quote Link to comment
Omaha-Husker
I hope he told Price that Crick says hey. 1 Quote Link to comment

RedDenver
people are bitching about how he went to a no name QB instructor who hasn't coached well known QB's What? Calhoun worked with Jake Locker and Cam Newton just off the top of my head. Maybe "people" should get their facts straight. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
I wouldn't say that the coach is a no name. He has worked with Cam Newton and Jake Locker. But regardless it is good to see TM putting in the time. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Good too see. I became a huge fan of Price last year. The kid's got moxie. Quote Link to comment

n.e.husker
Justin jackson has also said taylor has stayed after practice to work on center exchange. Taylor sure is groing into that leader we all wanted after his freshmen season. Quote Link to comment
'SkersRule
This is the best news I've heard all off-season. Maybe 2012 can be something special after all. Quote Link to comment
hskrfan4life
I love his commitment. This is what good football players do. They know they have trouble doing something, so they set out to fix it! 1 Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Martinez is going back to work with Calhoun some more in May. They're serious about fixing his mechanics. Calhoun expects more growth in the technical department. He and Martinez will work again in May. "You want the changes to be muscle memory for him," Calhoun said. LINK 1 Quote Link to comment

skersfan
Thank God, a thread that has a postive slant towards our starting QB. I will post now before it changes. Great to see Taylor working on getting better, personally I think he has since day one, but we seem to have proof of his efforts. Quote Link to comment

LINK He's tired of hearing how bad his mechanics are every game that is televised. It was a major topic every game so maybe he finally decided it was time to change that motion. Hopefully it helps him. Quote Link to comment
