QMany
Auburn is awful. We put out great secondary products. Staying committed would be a very smart decision. Quote Link to comment
hskerholic
All we need to do is have Jonathan Rose say hey Auburn is a nightmare I came to Nebraska and you should too! Go Big Red! Quote Link to comment

lionsfan93
Any updates on a time line for deciding. It would be extemely nice to get a commitment from him sooner rather than later. It would be a much needed boost. ??? He is committed...its just a soft commit. Quote Link to comment
RockyMountainOySker
Cook is gone the second Bama or Aubrun offer. IMO he shouldn't even be on the committed list. Quote Link to comment

I think you are right with Bama, but I'm not so sure that that will be the case if Auburn offers. While yes, its close to home, he didn't grow up a fan (the opposite actually) and he really doesn't have a relationship with the coaches there. Quote Link to comment

He's a Bama guy which means you can't be an Auburn guy. If Bama offers, he's gone, otherwise I like our chances. Quote Link to comment

MinnwiscowaSker
It seems those bama guys and Auburn guys are always flip-flopping between the two early in recruiting processes. Like the five star linebacker this year that was Bama, then Auburn (and got an AU tattoo) and is now back on the market. Quote Link to comment

Atbone95
What's the hate on him for? At this point, he's more committed to us than any other school. Hence, the commit tag. I'll come back and eat crow if he decommits, but count me as one who's confident he sees what we do with DB's here at Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
TonyStalloni
It is hard to blame a kid who wants to play for his home state school. I hope he decides quickly so our coaches know how to plan.. Quote Link to comment

I don't think people are hating on him, I think people realize that a home state offer is hard to say no to sometimes especially in the sout. I really think he is ours as long as Bama doesnt offer, if they do offer then good luck Mr. cook. If they don't then we look forward to seeing you suit up as a Husker!!!! GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
