True2tRA
I didn't mind the black helmet, those chrome ones looked kind of cool, BUT DON'T f#*k WITH THE RED 'N'. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
Can we just play the game? We have a hard enough time doing just that on occasion. Quote Link to comment
SandhillshuskerW
7 letter word, starts with a B?bit**in is what I'm guessing, unless you should have had an insert sarcasm sign Do I like this helmet? Only Hells Yeah! Quote Link to comment
Chaddyboxer
I don't mind it....but I would much rather have the N on the side of the helmet.... Don't mess with the N..... Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
I am far from a racist, but I find the topic very appealing, so I'll ask the question.... I have always wondered how black athletes feel about stuff like this. A cowboy/farmer on the side of their helmets? Or how Frazier, and others felt running out of the tunnel in the 90's following Herbie "White as I can be Swede" Husker. I know, I know.... It's our culture, etc., etc..... Just a thought.... Mavric
I'd really like to see us go after the Maryland idea and put the Great Seal of the State of Nebraska on the helmet. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
I'd really like to see us go after the Maryland idea and put the Great Seal of the State of Nebraska on the helmet. That's just sarcastic enough to work!!! Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
Herbie Husker looks like he has some sort of Hannibal Lecter device strapped across his mouth. For the very first time ever...I (ALMOST) like that balloon guy...Lilly something? Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I don't mind it....but I would much rather have the N on the side of the helmet.... Don't mess with the N..... Just a thought ... perhaps instead of the regular N put on the alternate helmet??? Quote Link to comment
TheRedCarver
I like that idea. Quote Link to comment
husker07
Like it better than the helmets last year. Those were just horribly plain and uncreative. Nothing beats the regular ones though. that is confusing. The helmets for last years Wisconsin game (and the uniforms) were basically just an inversion of the colors in our existing uniforms, as well as a copy of the Michigan ones. This helmet at least has something original about it. I still don't particular care for it, and like I said, there is nothing we could make that would beat the uniforms we always wear. The Maudfather
I don't really care for the logo....maybe if it had like the script huskers log, or just an oversized N on the helmet. Quote Link to comment

Not one team has the mascot of "berated Black American".....maybe that would help our recruiting? edit: maybe a "berated white guy shucking corn" is the reason we can compete....who knows? This isn't a racial issue, it is strictly "what looks cool". And not one fan base will totally agree,, Quote Link to comment
