StPaulHusker
Barney Cotton visited this week. Hope an offer is coming, great athlete. Lots of in-state talent. I would be happy to get Luke Gifford (obviously), DJ Foster, Harrison Phillips, Austin Rose, and Cotton. So you said at #11 1 Quote Link to comment

Danimal
His dad tested off the charts, was just OK on the field. Not a shocker if this kid would be better-off in track than football. But while we certainly shouldn't jump the gun with an offer we need to get him into camp and keep close tabs on him to better gauge his football potential. Quote Link to comment

Thanks_Tom RR
Set the new state track meet record with a 10.501 in the 100m. Not as fast as 2013 Husker signee Nathan Gerry, who set the 100m state record for South Dakota last month at 10.3 (actually 10.28), but still would be fun to watch if they ever went head-to-head. That was hand held, Cotton's time is electronic. Speed kills, we for sure need this guy in pads. A lot of the SEC guys run track. Of course in the Big 12 both Jamal Charles and RG3 both ran at least one season in college. People will say, what about Robert Rands, think that was his name right? Well he was a long jumper only , and did not have 10.4 100 meter speed. Would love to see Gerry match that or better it next week. Quote Link to comment
swmohusker
Doubt Gerry can match a 10.41. But Gerry is a football player who runs track. Cotton is a track guy who plays football. Their is a huge difference. 1 Quote Link to comment
