Mavric
"That wasn't very smart and that's why he didn't go back in the game," A&M coach Kevin Sumlin told ESPN after the game. "I hoped that at this point he'd have learned something." ESPN Article Quote Link to comment

Mavric
He and Ben Malena have been doing the money thing since last season. Early last season. It is literally less than nothing. His scoreboard point was because Rice was jawing at him. However, he should know better. Bama will be way worse. Johnny doesn't see their between confident and cocky and being a total ass. A lot of Ags aren't too happy with his antics. I kinda agree. He's gotten a lot better, but he needs to watch his mouth ESPN apparently think he's the devil, based on his coverage. Referencing his autograph investigation and drawing an unsportsmanlike penalty is "a lot better"? Interesting take. Quote Link to comment
AgMarauder04
I'm sorry, when I said he'd gotten better, I meant that he's become a better QB. I was not referencing his cockiness. I apologize for not being more clear. Quote Link to comment

AgMarauder04
Running his mouth? Absolutely he is. Tons of players do the money signal, and if people draw attention to JFF doing it, it's just stupid. Quote Link to comment
commando
tons of players didn't just beat the ncaa investigation for taking money for autographs. johnny did. people will pay more attention to him and he is stupid if he doesn't realize that. Quote Link to comment
AgMarauder04
Well, now he's just plain flaunting it!!! 1 Quote Link to comment
tschu
Manziel is continually arrogant and immature and instead of trying to man up and become a better, more mature person, he just continues to be more arrogant in apparent defiance of his perceived "haters" That's the problem. Not that he's immature, but because he knows that he's immature and thinks that it's A-OK. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
hate to say it, but i disagree with a lot of my husker brethren on this topic. obviously 'johhny football™' is so generous and charitable he was willing to go into hotel rooms with sleazy dudes and sign hundreds autographs out of the goodness of his heart. what a hero. 2 Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Don't worry, this Manziel thing is going to end like the Hindenburg... Gets drafted earlier in the first round, realizes he can't hang in the NFL, cut from multiple teams, later found snorting coke out of a transvestite hookers butt crack... 1 Quote Link to comment

Except for the hookers and coke. At least not yet. Quote Link to comment
AgMarauder04
Except that JFF has a lot more sound mechanics than Tebow and is not just a big bruiser who can also throw a little. Johnny is a GOOD quarterback...one who needs to grow up, but who has the fire, tools, and leadership to successful in the pros. But time will tell, and really arguing about it (like I just did) is silly. Quote Link to comment
