HuskerfaninOkieland
Simple question. Which catch was bigger: Westerkamp's or Davison's "flea kicker"? Quote Link to comment
caveman99
Hhhhmmmm I will say Davidson's for the fan base as that kept the MNC chase alive. Quote Link to comment
suigeneris
Davison's without question. Without it we don't share the NC. That game meant a lot to both teams. Plus, it was a more improbable/unique catch. 1 Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Davison hands down, no question. We have a possible Big Ten Championship game appearance on the line. Nothing more. Quote Link to comment
I am I
Davisons because it kept NC alive. Â But Westerkamps will go down in history. That was awesome. Â Hopefully it jump starts this team to win out Quote Link to comment
Blackshirts007
What's better winning $100 or $10,000 in the lottery 4 Quote Link to comment
HuskersNC949597
Davison's catch was bigger. But today's catch is definitely legendary in its own right. Quote Link to comment
presidentjlh
Davison's saved us the national title. His was truly vital to ensuring the dominance of the mid-90s. So that will reign supreme. Â If this team, however, can take the greatness of this moment, and turn it into something special, I won't say exactly what that will be, although certainly not a national title, then this will come close. Â Hopefully we can get to the title game and give Ohio St. the Hell it deserves. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Davison's.............no doubt in my mind. Westerkamp's is yet to be known what it actually meant to this team. 1 Quote Link to comment
Zaimejs
Davison's... on the road, at night, conference and national hopes at stake. We were making an impossible comeback against a hated wannabe rivalry. The ball was tipped and impossibly caught just inches from the ground with fingertips... it was absolutely amazing. Â However, Ron Kellogg's throw was probably the best Hail Mary we've ever seen. Quote Link to comment
Nebula
Hey, I appreciate being excited  Davison's catch straight up saved a NC for us. Plus we ripped out Mizzou's heart. Easy call for me. Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
Davison's for the NC. Westerkamp's because it was clean and legal. T_O_B Quote Link to comment
NUance
Westerkamp's. Â Â Bo told me. Â Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
Westerkamp saved a huge dumpster fire here. So I'll say Westerkamp for the sole reason he prevented a lot of headaches for me. Quote Link to comment
