OH HSKR FAN
I have heard that Eichorst wanted to terminate Pelini but could not gather enough support from the boosters to make the move. Thoughts? Quote Link to comment
OH HSKR FAN
He needs to breakthrough with a big year or the speculation will never die down. I think some of this hurts recruiting. Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
The rumor of the day was that it came down to a split on the board of regents. Quote Link to comment

Creighton Duke
Not quite sure. Some people claim that his hand/hat was only about an inch away from that ref; others say it wasn't even close... 1 Quote Link to comment
Redux
Holy Crap. Under 50 days away from the beginning of the season and were restarting the speculation train of FIRE BO? It really really really doesn't matter now whether or not a consensus could not be reached about a coaching change. He. Is. Still. Here. He didn't go to Washington. He didn't go to Boise State. He is right here in Lincoln. He needs to breakthrough with a big year or the speculation will never die down. I think some of this hurts recruiting. Okay please give me an example of this. Yesterday we landed a big Safety recruit while a top Running Back commit accompanied him. We have 11 commits currently and we still have alot of promise coming our way on the trail. Recruiting has never been stronger under Bo. The rumor of the day was that it came down to a split on the board of regents. Regardless if it did or not, he's still here. Speculating about the support or lack there of changes nothing at this point. We have a fresh season ahead of us. New QB, promising young Defense, a maintainable schedule, and not an overwhelming amount of expectations. I like our chances this year. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
I hear Sabin is available for $200 million (Texass only offered $100 million) Quote Link to comment

Like it or not Bo's job is in question this year, and it's probably going to be talked about. He only has himself to blame for that. Could he end the speculation for awhile with a good season? Yep. Could he get it to white hot status and finally go the other way? Yep. But to pretend that this board changes anything whether we talk positively or negatively is a little foolish.
