Aaron Curry transferring

I understand that it would suck going from 1st string to 3rd, but maybe working harder is the answer. If you can't work to be a starter at NU, your chances in the nfl are almost non-existent. Also, it's likely that someone will get dinged up, and he will be playing for at least 2nd string for most of the year. 2nd string in our defense gets a significant amount of snaps, as they like to keep people fresh.

Coach Pelini said freshman D.J. Foster is working out on the D-Line. But the long term plan is for him to still be on the O-Line. #Huskers

Oh. My. Goodness. I strongly hope the latter half of that statement is true. We do NOT need another Baker situation.

Do people realize that Baker played DT because he wanted to?

I get that the choice was his but the fact remains... All Conference DT, All American OT.

And maybe Foster would make a better DT then OG. We need some depth at DT and the coaches believe he is good enough to get a look there, don't see a problem with that.

If he can be a dominant DT, stay at DT. Finding OGs is so much easier than a really good DT.

so you're saying that we can speculate that would have been a fact if he actually ever played a down of OT.

Pretty much fact, I guess...

You can't say that's a fact he would have been an all American OL. And just because a decision went a different way than what we would have liked, doesn't mean history would repeat.

Your version of alternate history is hardy fact.
