HuskerNation1
Armstrong is shook up. Gun shy about being sacked. He won't be the guy to pull this one off. Exactly...and its our coaches job to pull him out for a series or two to get him calmed down...make him re-focus and realize his starting job is on the line. Quote Link to comment
whateveritis1224
One thing I didn't expect to happen after tonight's game was to have a QB controversy. On the biggest stage of his career, Tommy is coming up empty. I honestly thought he was a gamer and would be able to handle the pressure. Hard to handle pressure when your O-Line, specifically the RT is giving him no time. Quote Link to comment
The Nebraskan Assassin
I see people saying we haven't recruited any "good" QBs... well I'll tell you what, I have led Nebraska's coaches to a stud QB at the school I teach at who is in the 2017 class, and I told them about him LONG before he was on anyone else's radar... he is the #3 ranked dual-threat QB in the nation, and his name is Lowell Narcisse. Yet despite all of my efforts, the coaches still never made any attempts to look at him until after LSU, Miss. State, and even Illinois jumped all over him. I just don't understand it. They had a golden opportunity because I taught the kid and I have Huskers stuff up all over my classroom and all I do is preach Nebraska football. But we're in SEC country, and Nebraska had their chance to be the first ones to make an impression on him, especially with the leads I gave them, and they dropped the ball. Quote Link to comment
NUance
And we're still in it In theory. Yes. Hey, it could happen. We've all seen stranger things on a football field. Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
Nice to get some points on the board. Defense has played well. Just need to catch a break and maybe make a game of it Quote Link to comment
Sker4Ever
Not saying it's all Tommy's fault tonight because it's obvious the O line is playing terrible, but when and against who has Tommy set the world on fire. He's won games, but hasn't beaten a a good defense and proved during the McNeese game that if he has to throw it's no good Quote Link to comment
Zaimejs
Defense is fine. We play. We win. 3 TDS. Quote Link to comment
louisianared
I miss Taylor so much right now. He would fight to the end in situations like these and he'd at least be decisive if he was gonna scramble while actually making reads. Taylor may not have been our best qb of all time but damn sure had MSU's number. And people would be still saying he had no heart and that if we had Armstrong in we'd be in the game Quote Link to comment
The Maudfather
BECK--F*****G forget about the screens Helps when you have a qb that can throw an easy ball... Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
I'd consider giving Fyfe a chance. Tommy is completely rattled, and not even progressing through his routes. He needs experience, but we're still within a few scores in a important game. You have to give your team a chance to win. And Tommy is in no way doing that right now. Quote Link to comment
agibson95
Only 6 more FGs, come on Drew you can do it! Quote Link to comment
Decked
Armstrong isn't aware enough to be a good QB. He doesn't have what it takes mentally. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
At least we are not Michigan. Getting beat by Rutgers. #KeepBradyJoke Quote Link to comment

Blackshirt39
MSU knows all our audibles ! How freakin embarrassing. NU will never accomplish anything great under this staff. Yep. Beating our OL lout of their stances. Like the Seahawks saying they knew Denver's audible half way through the 2nd quarter Every single time. MSU knows our offensive game plan better than we do.
